What Would Hamas Do If It Could Do Whatever It Wanted?

“Right now,” Wolpe said, “Israel is much more powerful than Hezbollah and Hamas. Let’s say tomorrow this was reversed. Let’s say Hamas had the firepower of Israel and Israel had the firepower of Hamas. What do you think would happen to Israel were the balance of power reversed?”

“I don’t know what would happen tomorrow,” Cohen answered. This response brought a measure of derisive laughter from the incredulous audience. “And it doesn’t matter that I don’t know because it’s not going to happen tomorrow or in one or two years.” Wolpe quickly told Cohen that he himself knows exactly what would happen if the power balance between Hamas and Israel were to be reversed. (Later, Wolpe told me that he thought Cohen could not have been so naïve as to misunderstand the nature of Hamas and Hezbollah, but instead was simply caught short by the question.)

At the time, Cohen suggested that he was uninterested in grappling with the nature of Hamas and its goals. “I reject the thinking behind your question,” he said. “It’s not useful to go there.”

“Going there,” however, is necessary, not only to understand why Israelis fear Hamas, but also to understand that the narrative advanced by Hamas apologists concerning the group's beliefs and goals is false. “Going there” also does not require enormous imagination, or a well-developed predisposition toward paranoia. It is, in my opinion, a dereliction of responsibility on the part of progressives not to try to understand the goals and beliefs of Islamist totalitarian movements.
(This post, you should know, is not a commentary on the particulars of the war between Israel and Hamas, a war in which Hamas baited Israel and Israel took the bait. Each time Israel kills an innocent Palestinian in its attempt to neutralize Hamas’s rockets, it represents a victory for Hamas, which has made plain its goal of getting Israel to kill innocent Gazans. Suffice it to say that Israel cannot afford many more “victories” of the sort it is seeking in Gaza right now. I supported a ceasefire early in this war precisely because I believed that the Israeli government had not thought through its strategic goals, or the methods for achieving those goals.)

While it is true that Hamas is expert at getting innocent Palestinians killed, it has made it very plain, in word and deed, that it would rather kill Jews. The following blood-freezing statement is from the group's charter: “The Islamic Resistance Movement aspires to the realization of Allah’s promise, no matter how long that should take. The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him salvation, has said: ‘The day of judgment will not come until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jews will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say ‘O Muslims, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.”

Former Mossad chief: End is near for ‘fearmonger’ Netanyahu’s govt

1 Jun, 2016

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s rule is based on “fear” and his days in the office are numbered after he appointed controversial right-wing politician Avigdor Lieberman as defense minister, former Mossad director Efraim Halevy told Al Jazeera.

“I think he is a fearmonger. I think he uses fear in a way which one should not use,” said Halevy, who was director of Mossad, Israel’s national intelligence agency, from 1998 to 2002.

Halevy particularly cited the conduct of IDF soldiers when referring to fearmongering and Jewish extremism, citing the March incident with an officer in Hebron who shot dead a subdued Palestinian attacker.

“There are certain rules of the game in terms of combat – what you do when an enemy has been shot, has been neutralized, he can no longer fight, but he is still alive. Are you able to execute him as apparently was carried out in a certain case?” Halevy said.

Such episodes of unprovoked violence suggest the revaluation of basic principles in Israeli society is underway and very troublesome, he said.

“I think nobody should vote out of fear,” Halevy said, adding that the appointment of Lieberman signaled the “beginning of the countdown to the end of the administration of Mr. Netanyahu.”

The former Mossad boss also served under Netanyahu, who, in turn, has been the second-longest serving head of government in Israeli history. Halevy believes that while the Likud leader is in power, a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is out of the question.

The most favorable outcome of the decade-long confrontation, Halevy said, is to let Hamas govern in Gaza, which is “the best situation for Israel.” All combat troops stationed near the Gaza border take the same stand along with some senior military officials, Halevy said.

Commenting on allegations that Israel provides medical assistance to Al-Nusra Front militants, an Al-Qaeda affiliate and one of the jihadist groups not part of the US-Russia brokered ceasefire in Syria, Halevy said that “it’s always useful […] to deal with your enemies in a humane way.”

Confronted by the anchor with a question about if the Hezbollah militia, viewed by Israel as a terrorist organization, should be treated the same way, the former intelligence chief denied such a possibility on the grounds that Israel had suffered serious losses in a military confrontation with Hezbollah but was “not specifically targeted by Al-Qaeda.”

Last week human rights group B’Tselem blasted the Israeli government for its unwillingness to properly investigate the abuse of Palestinians by IDF soldiers. The group, which worked as a “subcontractor” for Israeli military policy investigation unit for 25 years, accused it of a lack of transparency. B’Tselem said it would no longer cooperate with the military law enforcement authorities.

“Cooperation with the military investigation and enforcement system has not achieved justice, instead lending legitimacy to the occupation regime and aiding to whitewash it,” the organization said in a statement.

Gaza Strip: Hamas executes three as death penalty resumes

Three people convicted of murder have been executed in the Gaza Strip, in a move condemned by the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank.

The men were shot or hanged on Tuesday after appeals were exhausted, officials from Gaza's de facto rulers, the Islamist Hamas movement, said.

Hamas did not seek the approval of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, as required under Palestinian law.

It underscores the continuing divisions between the main Palestinian factions.

Hamas and President Abbas' Fatah party signed a unity deal in 2014 designed to end a seven-year split which saw the West Bank and the Gaza Strip governed by rival administrations.

However, the agreement has never been properly implemented, leaving Hamas still effectively in charge of the coastal territory.

'Flagrant violation'

The three men, one of whom was reportedly a policeman employed by the West Bank-based Palestinian Authority, were executed at dawn.

The general prosecutor's office in Gaza said the men had been put to death "to achieve public deterrence and block crime".

A Gaza security source told the BBC the execution had been attended by the families of the murder victims, the attorney general and representatives of Palestinian factions.

Human rights groups and the UN had called on Hamas not to carry out the sentences.

Amnesty International denounced the executions and urged Hamas not to conduct any more.

"The deep flaws in the Gaza Strip's justice system, with repeated reports pointing to the widespread use of torture, make today's executions particularly egregious," Amnesty said in a statement.
The step marks a resumption of judicial executions for the first time since the 2014 reconciliation pact.

Palestinian Authority attorney general Ahmed Brak told Reuters news agency that "carrying out the executions represents a flagrant violation of the Palestinian basic law", according to which the president must ratify death sentences.

Those who were involved in Tuesday's executions were complicit in murder and would be held accountable, he said.

According to Human Rights Watch, more than 40 people have been put to death in Gaza since 2007, including 23 suspected collaborators during the 2014 war with Israel.

Most of those executed were convicted in military courts or executed summarily, without a judicial ruling, it said.

How Israel Plans to Rule the World: Part 1 The Plan

THE PLAN

There are a number of major forces in the world today but by far the most aggressive of them is the force that lies behind the state of Israel, Zionism. And the force that lies, in turn, behind Zionism is the international bankers and, in particular, those bankers that form the Jewish clique who are by far the biggest players within the banking circle. They control the two most influential central banks in the world, the Bank of England and the Federal Reserve Bank of the the US. They also control the body that co-ordinates central banks throughout the world, the Bank for International Settlements in Basle Switzerland.

Actually, these bankers are not principally bankers at all but rather men, families, that are world dominionists. They intend to rule the world and they are well on the way after two hundred years of planning and manoeuvring. Money from banking is their primary tool. All their other power, influence and domination flow from this. The pre-eminent family amongst these bankers is the Rothschilds. Heinrich Heine, a poet-philosopher and banker's son said of James Rothschild, “Money is the god of this world and Rothschild is his prophet”. Note the quote stated “his” prophet. Heine personified this god. This personified god of money has a name, of course. Mammon.

To tie these families together through the generations and ensuring continuity, something stronger than 'family ties' is needed. Something of a religious nature is needed: something that offers reward beyond the grave for these worshippers of money and power; these worshippers of Mammon.

Another Rothschild, the founder of the House, Mayer Amschel Rothschild, has been quoted as saying, “Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation and I care not who makes its laws”. This quote indicates the primacy of issuing a nations money in the power hierarchy. So the plan from the beginning was to form banks and then central banks (which would control and co-ordinate all the other banks within a country) and, through whatever means necessary, gain the position of issuing a nation's money. And, indeed, they do in most countries in the world including the major powers, America, England and Europe. With this power to create virtually unlimited amounts of money as they did in a blatant display of this power in connection with the so called “bank bailouts”, they can then buy their way into the upper echelons of commerce, industry and finally political power, the aristocracy. And they have; making connections, 'friends' and allies and fostering their dependency upon the bankers and their money. Money is also a drug; a drug of addiction.

With this power they have bought their way into strategic industries in particular such as oil, food, and armaments. War making uses vast amounts of these resources and manufactured items together with equally vast amounts of money to finance their purchases. These bankers win on both sides of the ledger. There are huge profits to be made from war for these people. Of course, if banks and the armaments industries were nationalised by the governments of the world, this huge pressure for war would disappear overnight. Until that day, this insistent power and forceful influence on the world's governments will persist because with their money they can buy the election of compliant politicians. These same politicians then extend the open US public purse towards Israel and in the process pay back multiple times their electoral bribes.

It becomes an insidious roundabout. Indeed, there is a practice in America called the “revolving door policy” whereby individuals shift from senior positions within these strategic industries, into influential government positions and then back and forth again. Through this process, the government and major industries in America have been captured by the bankers and turned to their purposes. This power then inevitably extends into the United Nations.

With this power and influence, the Rothschilds and the other Jewish banking families that they have gathered around them have managed to have the state of Israel proclaimed in their favour and carved out of the living body of Palestine in 1948. It was their beach head in their political invasion of the Middle East. This granting of someone else's land to unwanted immigrants by people on the other side of the world who neither owned nor resided in the country was a disaster for the Palestinians: a disaster for the rest of the Middle East countries immediately surrounding them, especially Egypt now; and, indeed, a coming disaster for the rest of the world.

This disaster that is extending out from Palestine and calling itself Israel is still ongoing and will form the base for these Jewish bankers to become a world power in terms of armed forces and resources as well as their existing world power in financial terms. This will mean that they no longer have to suffer the present vulnerability of living off the largesse of the American public. (The state of Israel is not economically viable without this largesse.) They will be able to exploit their conquered neighbours resources and squeeze the maximum from transit fees through the Suez canal. They will no longer have to coerce and negotiate with other powers, their 'friends' and allies to fight their wars for them. They will simply be able to launch them at their whim. Although, of course, they will almost certainly expect their US and European 'friends' money and arms to do their bidding, they will no longer be dependent and therefore vulnerable to a reversal of fortunes as they have been and are still now.

There may be only one worse ultimate fate than becoming a 'friend' of a Mafia Don and that is to become a 'friend' or ally of a Rothschild or an ally or 'friend of Israel', the Rothschilds' very own country. Israel has betrayed one ally after another. They are presently betraying Egypt, its long term “Partner in Peace”. Egypt is planned to be another stepping stone for these bankers on their way to being a world power. They plan to then use to this 'super' Israel to rule over all the other powers using the American and British peoples and their armed forces together with those of NATO and affiliated treaty organisations.

The nations of America and Britain in particular are being turned into massive war machines and bled dry. Non-strategic industries have been closed down or moved overseas principally to China causing mass unemployment and leaving the workforce a choice of employment in the armaments and tributary industries or directly in the military forces. This is an example of the fate of Israel's allies. Egypt is another.

So with all these resources at their command, how do the bankers through their very own little country intend to go about bringing the whole world to heel? They have a strategy which is very simple and they have been using it for well over a hundred years through the governments and armed forces of Britain and America. It is termed, “balkanisation” and Egypt is the latest example if things go according to plan for them (which, so far, it appears it isn't). Balkanisation involves destroying a nation through various means including wars, civil wars and civil uprisings and to break it up into small ethnically or religiously based states.

This power through destruction is a good description of the power of evil. This simple destructive strategy will be the subject of the next installment, Part 2. An examination of this process underway in Egypt (but still uncertain) will be the subject of Part 3

To save reading the whole of the above post here is the shorter version straight from Hamas's charter.

Quote:
"The Hamas credo is not just anti-Israel, but profoundly anti-Semitic with racism at its core. The Hamas Charter reads like a modern-day 'Mein Kampf.'" According to the charter, Jewish people "have only negative traits and are presented as planning to take over the world."

9 Things You Need To Know About Hamas — Straight From Its Charter

Before you comment on the latest conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, you really have to read the charter upon which the terrorist group Hamas was founded.

To understand Israel’s enemy in Gaza, you have know why the group was constituted. And it wasn’t constituted to negotiate a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Hamas was founded in December 1987. In August 1988, it issued a covenant outlining its mission. The covenant has never been renounced by Hamas, even though some try to claim it is now merely a historical artifact.

Here are nine key takeaways about Hamas, taken straight from its charter
1.) Hamas isn’t looking to negotiate a peace deal with Israel. It wants to destroy Israel. Quoting Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna, the charter reads:

“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”

2.) Actually, Hamas’ charter goes beyond destroying Israel. It longs for Jewish genocide:

“The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him salvation, has said: ‘The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.'”

3.) The international community may love the peace process, but Hamas makes it clear in its charter that it doesn’t believe in peace conferences. As its charter states:

“Initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences, are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement.”

4.) Unsurprisingly for an organization that supports Jewish genocide, Hamas’ charter is explicitly anti-Semitic. For instance, Hamas’ charter claims Jews — not just Israelis — are responsible for all wars:

“There is no war going on anywhere, without having their finger in it.”

5.) And all revolutions:

“They were behind the French Revolution, the Communist revolution and most of the revolutions we heard and hear about, here and there. With their money they formed secret societies, such as Freemasons, Rotary Clubs, the Lions and others in different parts of the world for the purpose of sabotaging societies and achieving Zionist interests.”

6.) And they also control media:

“For a long time, the enemies have been planning, skillfully and with precision, for the achievement of what they have attained. They took into consideration the causes affecting the current of events. They strived to amass great and substantive material wealth which they devoted to the realisation of their dream. With their money, they took control of the world media, news agencies, the press, publishing houses, broadcasting stations, and others.”

7.) According to its charter, Hamas is a big fan of violent jihad:

“There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors.”

8.) Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood and therefore shares the Muslim Brotherhood’s enthusiasm for “death for the sake of Allah:”

“Allah is its target, the Prophet is its model, the Koran its constitution: Jihad is its path and death for the sake of Allah is the loftiest of its wishes.”

9.) Finally, like many anti-Israel protesters who don’t seem to like Jews very much, Hamas accuses Israel of being Nazi-like an awful lot in its charter. For instance, there’s this:

“The society that confronts a vicious enemy which acts in a way similar to Nazism, making no differentiation between man and woman, between children and old people — such a society is entitled to this Islamic spirit.”

And this:

“In their Nazi treatment, the Jews made no exception for women or children. Their policy of striking fear in the heart is meant for all. They attack people where their breadwinning is concerned, extorting their money and threatening their honor.”

And this:

“The Zionist Nazi activities against our people will not last for long.”

And, finally, this:

“There is no way out except by concentrating all powers and energies to face this Nazi, vicious Tatar invasion.”

But don’t accuse Hamas of being intellectually consistent on the question of the Holocaust. Though its charter repeatedly accuses Jews of being like Nazis, in 2009 the organization protested the United Nations over teaching the history of Holocaust to Palestinian children because it was, according to Hamas, “a lie invented by the Zionists.”

According to the claims made by some of its publishers, the Protocols are the minutes of a late 19th-century meeting where Jewish leaders discussed their goal of global Jewish hegemony by subverting the morals of Gentiles, and by controlling the press and the world's economies.

Using a forgery to defend terrorists like hamas, that is getting desperate.

Get it through your thick skull that I am not defending Hamas but you are not looking at the bigger picture.

The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion

M. Henry Ford, in an interview published in the New York World, February 17, 1921, put the case for Protocols tersely and convincingly thus"

"The only statement I care to make about the PROTOCOLS is that they fit in with what is going on.  They are now sixteen yearls old, and they have fitted the world situaation up to this time.  THEY FIT IT NOW."

which you say is a forgery, prove that it is if you can, after listening to this, put the Hamas charter away for a few hours and listen:

If you do not care to listen to the audio book then read it  @ www.threeworldwars.com/protocols.htm

I don't have to prove they are fake, that has been proven just as convincingly as they have proved the world isn't flat.

Quote:
THE PROTOCOLS TODAY

According to the US Department of State's "Report on Global Anti-Semitism" (2004), "The clear purpose of the [Protocols is] to incite hatred of Jews and of Israel."

In the United States and Europe, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and Holocaust deniers endorse and circulate the Protocols. Books based on the Protocols are available worldwide, even in countries with hardly any Jews such as Japan.

Many school textbooks throughout the Arab and Islamic world teach the Protocols as fact. Countless political speeches, editorials, and even children's cartoons are derived from the Protocols. In 2002, Egypt's government-sponsored television aired a miniseries based on the Protocols, an event condemned by the US State Department. The Palestinian organization Hamas draws in part on the Protocols to justify its terrorism against Israeli civilians.

The Internet has dramatically increased access to the Protocols. Even though many Web sites expose the Protocols as a fraud, the Internet has made it easy to use the Protocols to spread hatred of Jews. Today, a typical Internet search yields several hundred thousand sites that disseminate, sell, or debate the Protocols or expose them as a fraud.

I wonder what really sensible, sane, respected links we might get next.

So far we have had -

Electronic Intifada

PressTV - owned by Iran

Miko Peled - a guy who blocks IDF regulars on twitter for the crime of being a soldier and waves a Palestinian flag

Palestinian Front

Wonder whats next on the personal vendetta?

Maybe Stormfront? The American Nazi Federation? Hezbollah?

Glad to see your anti-Israel links are all consistent.....

Out of interest, why do you never post any links critical of the Palestinians?
Of their murders of Israeli settlers.

Why is it all just constantly beating of one side? How do you expect to be taken seriously?

You may as well work for Hamas.
