The weird thing is that a great many Australians actually want to believe the Mufti, even when he clearly contradicts the Koran. Infidels are fair game in its august pages, and lies and deceit are sanctioned when made to the glory of Allah and his prophet.

You will notice the absence of any reference to the shooter's sense of faith. The Mufti uses the vague reference to terrorist acts and the ABC did not question the use of such euphemisms. The shooter was not a terrorist, he went down there to kill in the name of Allah. He was a religious fanatic, and there are way too many of them in the Muslim faith.

If the Grand Muff is muslim and believes the qu'ran then he is a Liar. Which we all know is true of course. What a shame you clearly don't even know what islams fictitious book the quran teaches and muslims actually believe.

You are one of the people I noted in line one. Your relativism would have Christians and Jews as big a threat to social cohesion as Muslims. You are able to completely ignore the evidence to maintain your hopeful sense of fairness; something not shared by the Mufti or the scripture he and Farad follow.
