you really should stop trying so hard, you look dumb enough without trying. Trying so hard makes you look desperate too!

Oooh, I think I remember this game from school!

Can I try? Maria's so fat if she got in a Tesla she'd flatten the batteries!

And that is the standard of retort that makes you such a laughing stock. All you have ever proven is that you have a lamentable level of understanding on almost every topic. This time it was on electrical engineering.

You really are not very clever.

You don't need 3-phase power for a slow 8 hour charge because usually people sleep at night unless they are insomniacs like longloser aka maria who drive 24 hours a day !!

380km in  24 hours? 380km in 4 hours, sleep the day away.

who cares about travelling 380k's. That's the exception and not the rule and the Tesla model S will do it anyway.

Maybe you never travel outside your suburb but for those who do like to travel, this car is unusable. Its a great car for around the city or on short trips, but we have often travelled 600-1000kms in a day, as have many people. And at the end of that day it takes 10mins to refuel not endless hours or even as much as 36 hours in this car.

Have you EVER travelled 500kms or more in a single day?

Yes I have in a plane. Only a fool would want to travel long distances by road.

They did a survey in the US once and found that 80% of daily commutes were less than 50 miles. Get into the real world will you.

So, you've never driven more than 500kms?  Well you are an odd character aren't you. I couldn't find a single person who has never driven that far. Most people in Australia have done that and way more on a regular basis.  But I forget... you don't have a car.

If a Tesla could do 500k's on one charge you would just move the goal post to 600k's even though it is not relevant to 95% of daily commutes. You really are a jerk.

I've often driven 1500kms in a day. I enjoy distance driving. When I visit some relatives in Western NSW, there is no choice but to travel many hundreds of kilometres each way.

Do you ever leave the suburbs?

So Tesla should stop manufacturing their cars just because you travel 1500k's non stop Cheesy LOL

Maybe you should try travelling 1500k's in a mini Sad But that never stopped people buying minis did it Wink

You only ever make tangential arguments rarely on the topic.  And it is rather embarrassing for you that you've never driven as far as 500kms. I'd be willing to bet that you are alone on that on this forum.

up until the age of 28, I'd never driven further than 100km either. Not everyone has family in the sticks you know. Holidays were O'seas so no need to drive.

I saw a Tesla today.  It's the second one I have seen since they were introduced here.  They must really be selling well.

look he always pulls the same arguments out of his arse as though everybody buying a Tesla EV is going to take notice of what he says.

Here is an aussie driving a Tesla Model S in Sydney just in case long loser believes that they still don't exist here.

From the video I posted above we find out the reason why. Tesla has only just started  manufacturing right hand drive cars.
