When we were leaving Darwin, we decided to visit Kakadu, as we hadn't previously. There was a couple there in a "Wicked" van, rushing around. I asked why the rush? They said they were on holiday and touring Australia. Had 28 days to do it.

Sad really.

It once took me 3 days to go from Brisbane to Noosa .... a 1.5 hr drive ....

28 days to see Australia is ridiculous ... they're better off limiting themselves to one particular area

Must have been a lot of pubs along that route.

And yet how many of you wannabes owns a Tesla or any expensive car for that matter? Apparently The Nail doesn't even own a car and has never driven any significant distance.

You are just wannabes, type kickers and Walter Mitty types, wishing for a life you cannot afford and never will.

And your evidence for that is what ? Just because I won't tell a nosy Parker what car it is !!

Keep trying loser. The success of the Tesla is just another one of your failed predictions Cheesy LOL

And to think that Holden could have owned this market !!

You don't own a car or a house and yet you presume to lecture on those topics.

You are a full-on weirdo.

None of those things you can prove nor has any relevance.

Or is it a case that you have just lost the argument outright as usual Wink

Sir Nail is an international businessman who drives a luxury car.

In any case such comments by Longy above are indeed irrelevant.

The Nail is a lonely little man living in a boarding house and riding a bike. That is the only reason possible for the insanity that accompanies every comment on cars or housing.

And would you care to tell us what this mythical 'luxury car' is assuming you even know what one is?

Interesting to see how a thread about a car that is largely irrelevant to those outside the capital cities has grown to 14 pages.

The electric car may be the transport of the future, but the future hasn't arrived yet.

Dear Longy,
Completely false & irrelevant.

However your $2.2 million home in Adelaide is false.

You are forgiven for telling lies & dressing up as a woman.

Looking at Tesla financial statements they are yet to make a profit, did they lose $289 million last year.

I wonder if they have stopped them catching on fire.

I think the Aussie made Sunswift set the 500km record for a battery powered car, the UNSW hopes to sell a few.

Has Holden or Ford ever made a profit without corporate welfare ?

At least Tesla paid back their half a billion loan from the Federal Government. That's a lot more than you can say about Holden or Ford. You will never see the money again from those two pirates.

And how long has Tesla been in business compared with Ford and Holden ?

Get over yourself, bike-rider. Cars have to suit the purpose - something you don't get - probably because you don't drive and never been in a car any distance except in handcuffs.

Come back when you have bought your first car!
