thank Christ Henry Ford didn't think like you.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

MY UNCLE REBUILT A MODEL T AND TOLD ME BATTERY TECH REALLY HADn't CHANGED IN ALL THAT TIME... APPARENTLY THERE WAS AN AGE OF THE ELECTRON AND IT MISSED THE CAR BATTERY- YOU COULDN'T WRITE THIS SHITE!

GO FREE MARKETS AND PROPAGANDA AND THE CLEVER COUNTRY AND THE FOREIGN INVESTOR TAP AND STUFF... what a friggin joke - the conundrum of climate change is solved by simply getting the frig off our collective ignorance of such basics!

the age of the electron: dood, it's just incredible how much wasted venture made this global economy.

Yep typical longy debate - keep moving the goal posts. What he doesn't realize is that range is no longer an issue with super chargers just as it isn't with fool bowsers. The only difference being is that you don't pay for the fuel with a Tesla  Wink

how many superchargers in outback NSW?  how many in FNQ.  how many on the road from adelaide to... anywhere.  Many in WA yet?

you are still a retard.

Yeh that's right. They're not here today so they can't be here tomorrow !! Same old circular arguments that we've come to expect from you Grin LOL

there are as many flying cars in FNQ as superhargers.

and that is the point.

Once upon a time there were very few fool bowsers around too but that's history now isn't it !!

and there still are.... and there are almost ZERO superchargers around.  would you have bought a car in 1910 if there were NO petrol stations in the state?  of course not.

anyhow reject-nail...  when are YOU buying a TEsla?

They are all over Europe. Can't help it if the Luddites here are 20 years behind the rest of them.

But your arguments are starting to wear thin. First you said that super chargers were impractical and now that you have been proven wrong yet once again now it has turned into an argument about how they are not every where. This again will be another one of your failed predictions in the making Cheesy LOL

You forget: his argument resolved to ad-hominem! His argument is admittedly not there  Smiley

Yes you can because all large businesses started small at one stage. Just look where Holden started. Making carriages for horses and it looks like they will end up smaller than where they started as far as local production is concerned Cheesy LOL

What you are saying doesn't make any sense.  Holdens started as a saddlery business (not as a coachbuilder) and the government funding that you are making such a big noise about did not happen until almost 100 years later.  The fact that someone who who has been putting replacement engines in used cars for a few years does so without government funding is hardly relevant.

And do you really need to scatter smileys and LOLs all over your posts?  It makes you look even less intelligent than you actually are.

Replacement engines ?? Are you fricken kidding me !!

You're f.cked up attitude is why we are now in this situation where after tens of billions of tax payers dollars has given us not one single cent of equity in any of these car companies ! Nissan, Mitsubishi, Holden, Ford and Toyota have and will all run off with the loot, the land , the IP, the equipment that we have been paying for - for all of these years. And you've got the cheek to bag this Ross Blade dude because he doesn't have a spare 10 mill to buy a 50 ton press to pump out body panels. Well I know of at least two companies that have 50 ton presses that we have paid for and no one else is allowed to use it Sad

That Ross Blade dude has achieved more in EV technology than Ford and Holden put together over 60 years and he has done it without the tens of billions that have been pissed up against the wall !!

What a disgrace you are with your f.cked up pretentious attitude.

No I am not.  That is exactly what he is doing.  He is taking the petrol engine out and putting an electric motor in.  And he seems to be doing a very good job of it.

Did you bother reading the article you posted a link to?  If so, you seem to have a massive comprehension problem.

I don’t think I have made any statements in support of Holden, Ford et.al.  What I was taking issue with was nothing to do with car companies, but rather your twisted logic in yet another mindless rant.  Yes, we can criticise Holden, Ford, Toyota and Mitsubishi, but let’s make some sense when we do it.

He has to retrofit an existing car because none of the car manufactures that we have been paying out billions for all of these years will supply him with a bare bones chassis nor let him have access to the equipment to make one. Surely you can't have that much difficulty trying to comprehend this issue ?
