I thought only the young liberals did that sort of childish thing.  It's OK, the aussie taxpayer will pick up the tab

wow... a $590 table. How will we ever afford to replace it. I've seen more expensive tables in clearance stores.

of course you'd excuse it Cheesy Cheesy

Perhaps in the Vinnies section where you furnish your house that seems expensive but a $590 is cheap. Keating bought a $12,000 table 25 years ago.

All we have is a cracked table. I've had worse happen in my house from a group of teenagers (6"2'+) mucking around.

Tah dah....the merely cracked table.

A coffee table....

I guess to a taxi driver it looks like a big deal. To the rest of the world it is just a coffee table.

The point, Mongy, is damage to taxpayers’ property. Took a month before your hero agreed to pay for the damage.

Ahem....back in the late 80's, one of our then Lebanese neighbours threw a table like that out at the kerb for council collection.

Bloody awful thing it was too.

I'm surprised something like that is still around.

Mind you, it could be ok for some current day mosque in say ... Lakemba.

The point is just how pitifully trivial this all is. The polls are showing Labor are going to be wiped out in the next election and you spend all your time fixating on an ugly coffee table?

50:50 is nothing to get excited about.

Carelessness with taxpayers’ property is just one major fault abbott and hid cronies had.

A month to own up, no wonder Malodorous got a little sugar rush in the polls.

Gillard ended her Prime Ministership writing a letter to a disabled child who had written to her. abbott goes on a four day drunken rampage.

I know who had class and who is all arse!

Christ even Rudd turned up to QT after his booting as PM, not disgusting abbott.

You Lib fanbois do yourself no favors defending abbott!

Now now, dear. Longy spent the last 2 years telling us all how useless polls are.

Remember, the only poll that counts is the one on erection day.

it was purchased in the late 80's ... and it doesn't matter how awful you think it looks, they shouldn't be dancing on tables and then try to hide the evidence after they break it.
