put a stoopid dumbarse word like DOMESTIC in fron to of it

and it seems to come down too.. well what happens behind bedroom doors stays behind them ...or should..

thats the idea..... it is against the LAW to smack a child...rightly so ... why! you may well ask...

because some folks go beyond a smack...

and its the same with the word DOMESTIC...

when someone is scared out of the wits by their live in partner and resorts to the police for help......it is more than DOMESTIC....

its unacceptable and we should be ashamed...

a high profile person is just a small way of bringing this to the attention of everyone...

lets hope they shame this creep well and truly....

Not all Australians are from England. Probably more to do with Christianity and societal pressures. In Australia in the 1890's for instance you behaved yourself amongst society. It was shameful to be looked down upon. Probably more a Victorian way of behaving in society that was common throughout western countries at the time.
