Alleged victim says VIP pedophile ring included former PMs

A BANORA Point woman claiming to be the victim of an elite pedophile ring says she was repeatedly prostituted at "pedophile parties", including ones attended by at least three former prime ministers at Parliament House in Canberra.

Fiona Barnett made the sensational claims to media outside the current royal commission in Sydney at the invitation of victims' group Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests.

She said she witnessed children being kidnapped, raped, tortured and murdered at the hands high-ranking police, politicians and judges.

"My experiences were horrific beyond words," she said.

"But the way I've been treated for reporting the crimes I've witnessed and experienced has been far worse than my original abuse experiences."

Ms Barnett said all her reports to police and royal commissions had so far been ignored.

"I have provided sufficient names, times, dates and places for authorities to investigate," she said.

"Australia is a pedophile haven.
"Our laws are written, interpreted and administered in a way that benefits pedophiles and silences victims of crime."
Ms Barnett recounted a story about being shown as a child what happened to "traitors" who spoke out.

She alleged she witnessed a man being tied to two tractors which drove in opposite directions, tearing him limb from limb.

She said the alleged "VIP pedophile ring" was still operating and trying to silence her and other victims who wanted to speak out but feared for their lives.

SNAP leader Nicky Davis said she asked Ms Barnett after Liberal Senator Bill Heffernan publicly claimed to have a police list of 28 prominent Australians involved in child abuse ring.

"Survivors try so hard to get justice, and so often we're ignored," she said.

"It's just (because) Senator Heffernan has made this a media issue that we're able to attract this level of attention to one of our survivors today."

Sen Heffernan made the allegations under parliamentary privilege earlier this week, saying the list of names included a former prime minister.

"We have in Australia, sadly, a compromise at the highest of levels. There is a former prime minister on this list and it is a police document," he said.

"It's not so much the secret that's the problem, it's when a group of people, such as the 28 people on this page, keep each other's secrets that the institution is compromised."

Ms Barnett said the current royal commission would be a failure if it refused to investigate her claims.
