Bah.  I actually signed my nephew up to a written deal when he was about seven.  He wanted a dollar, and we agreed that I would give him  that dollar (which I did) if he signed a piece of paper stating that, in exchange, when he was a grown up, he would buy me a Farrari.  He signed.

He now claims I bribed him and refuses to cough up.

Ingrate!

Lisa is starting to sound like longy, he thinks he's special because he has a mortgage.

There's absolutely nothing special about having air conditioning Lisa.....it's been around like......forever.

You should have got mama air con long before this. Are you a neglectful daughter? No wonder she's sick, she's been sweltering all these years with a little $12 fan.

what sort of mother are you? expecting your kids to buy your air conditioner for you .... buy your own.

Exactly.  Anyone who owns their own home two floor home outright ought go and get their own.  Fancy waiting for one of your kids to do it for you.

see Pansi, even Aussie agrees that you were sponging off your kids Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Like Lisa, my little suckers fall for it every time  Grin poor mama  Cry

you raised them well then  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I'm not hopeful it will last though Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

They're so sweet.

Then they grow up.

If it's not too late - then get a DAIKIN.

I had a Split System specialist here in my lounge room only a few months ago because I thought something must be wrong with my 2.75hp LG Inverter system because it was piss-weak in delivering hot air on the coldest winter mornings.

It turns out there was nothing wrong with the system, and its poor handling was well known to people in the industry.

He told me the only brand known to perform well at start-up on very cold mornings was the Daikin.

Lesson learnt.

Yes - I have a split system at work & on cold mornings
it blows a cold draft for the first hour.
Sure - the air is warmer than the original cold air but it's still
not what you would call hot air.

An electric heater instantly blows hot air.

'DAIKIN' is the answer. That will be my next brand if my LG is ever headed for the council tip.

Well done Lisa.
Fujitsu are a well reputed brand.

I'm sure you will appreciate it on those hot afternoons and cold mornings.
I see A/C's as being a health bonus.

Nahhh...we've got ducted.

The split system air con was for Mum's place.

She's been fighting with us for years over getting air conditioning in.

The tough bugger caved in this time....that's her upcoming birthday present from us kids.

When I say the tough bugger caved in..she negotiated a take it or leave it deal with us.

We could only install the system inside her house IF we were prepared to pay all her future electricity bills.

I bet she'll never switch the bloody thing off now lol.
