In any case, you skirt the point.

Why would it be notable that 'lefties' disagree with each other? You think we all think homogeneously?

It's hilarious watching lefties trying to outdo each other on who's the most offended.

Again you spectacularly miss the point.

If you stopped ascribing people's beliefs systems for them, you would expand your thinking tremendously.

What point am I missing?

You are missing that people who you ascribe belief systems to may well surprise you by thinking outside the box you have ascribed them.

What belief system am I ascribing and why is that system wrong?

You are suggesting 'lefties' are of a 'type'.

Just like you think feminists are of a 'type'.

It;s foolish thinking.

Everyone displays certain characteristics. Human beings have categorised people probably even before language was invented. It's what we do.

Then cop it square on the chin when you are wrong .. as you are wrong about this Misty.

Wrong about thinking there is something notable about left wing people engaging in lively debate because they disagree with eachother.

The debate as to whether Greer should speak or not and what her comments mean for the wider community.

The 'vibrants' want to shut Germaine up.
They do not want to discuss anything. They want to ban her because all they have is their emotional incontinence and pouting.
Lively debate is the LAST thing they want. They would welcome Germs on campus if they really wanted a lively debate.

You are one of them. You equate a baying for a ban with wanting a debate. Dishonest of you.

Elements of the transgender community and their supporters versus people who want to hear Germaine speak.

Couldn't you have worked that out from the OP?

I'm genuinely curious as to how sending some crappy tweets and starting a petition on change.org to ban someone from speaking became a 'lively debate'.

So now it's debatable whether a professor of English at Cambridge should speak at another university!!!!

The proggy Left has brought us to this -  freedom to discuss ideas at a university is now debatable.
