hey grappler, can I buy it without joining google? I hate any shops where I have to join to buy ... what  a load of croc.

Had no idea you had to join.... ummm... Amazon picks these things up alongside a number of other publishers and posts them out there... lemme look...

What I found hilarious once was that one of my books was put next to a Dale Brown as a 'good read'.. hmmm..... I doubt my fiction is in the same race as Dale Brown..... but I'm young yet.

The reason they are cheap buys is that the max price is $9.99 for an onliner and I figured my first ones weren't worth full market value...  should've gone for full bucks to satisfy my detractors.

You will also note that autobio is listed as such and fiction is listed as fiction.... no confusion there.  I do a mix - I'm still working on my style, I'm afraid.

Not really it was just put up beside other books people bought. Can't find any reviews though Wink

Better write some quick.

PS I love your free Amazon store. Wink

It's not my store - it operates through a publishing house.....

thats a link to a kindle book ... I want a real book with real pages ...

Trouble is that real books, unless picked up by a publisher, are costly to produce.  When I set up my own small publishing house, I'll publish them hard copy.

Yes that free publisher Booktango sounds dodgy.

BookTango, which is still in beta, offers DIY ebook conversion via its online ebook editor (your file needs to be formatted to BookTango's specifications), and distribution to a variety of platforms, including Apple, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, BooksOnBoard, Google, and Kobo. There's also a cover design function, ISBN assignment, and of course, payment processing.

I seriously fail to see why you bother..... if you disagree on any issue I raise - feel free to publish a counter-argument.... of your own.

They need to make the money off their wares first. If all goes well a more convincing printed copy helps them strike more gold, if they are lucky, most can't bridge the gap and most aren't lucky its to expensive publishing yourself.

Usually just more PDF's follow to milk the existing readers.

For exposing a scammer scamming the users of their forums ???

Very funny. Grin

Sounds like you're getting desperate there to me more to the point. You saw this thread last night and logged out straight away. It took you a whole day to come up with a line in to it.

So you reckon all those countless people out there who are trying to get their books published in a seriously savage trade are all scammers?

e-publishing is becoming one of the most common ways people get things out there, since most don't have the connection to a major publishing house.

Calling it scamming is absurd.

You really need to grow up.  If you don't like the idea or the previews or the free sample - don't buy.. nobody is forcing you to.

Besides - you're the one promoting my books here - thanks for the work.  Cool

"You saw this thread last night and logged out straight away. It took you a whole day to come up with a line in to it."

Totally delusional.

This thread started at 8.52pm today.

I am more than happy to read your AUTHENTICATED Biography and pay good money for it when a REAL independent publisher warrants a PRINTED copy in production, Authenticated with proper independent reviews.

Which we both know WON'T happen now don't we.

I am calling you out for being a scammer which you are, prove me wrong. You cannot authenticate anything in your biography and won't. Period.

Secondly I don't care how many simpletons buy your self written PDF file they deserve to lose their money.
