A "comprehensive" police investigation concluded with "insufficient evidence to lay charges" over the claims.

That's not the same as being cleared of the allegations. It means just what it says - there isn't enough evidence to mount a prosecution. It doesn't necessarily mean he's innocent. I don't know enough about his situation to say much more on it other than this.

there is so much nudity now flying through space if someone sees the need to flash on his phone I can only guess he is in need of treatment...

but I guess being in parliament is the next best thing.. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

there must be a shortage of intelligent people with morals and respect  in Qld...when all they have to pre select are  people of this type.

not surprising this country is going down hill.

One is either guilty or innocent , no charges, no conviction zip zero nada nenti so nothing to answer to , Libs failed as they did with Gillard and as they will with Shorten  Smiley

so in your eyes OJ Simpson was Not Guilty of murder??

in YOUR eyes.. ?

The lefties just don't get it, eh? Not guilty means a person has been cleared because they are deemed not guilty. Not enough evidence means just that - not enough to judge a person's innocence or guilt.

This is true, but it's cleared as far as our legal system is concerned because we have a presumption of innocence

they dont have a good record do they?....

as far as I am concerned anyone who shows his true colours...in this case sending unwanted pic of his own ego....should not be representing people in parliament...do we honestly think anyone would have voted for him had this been common knowledge before the election????... hardly..... well whats different now....

the point is..he did it...it creeps me out to be honest...

I can only believe the Qld people donbt care who is there as long as its not the side they dont like.... Angry Angry I see no call for his dismissal

LNP's Peter Dowling is more on point.  Get your text with testicles in a wine glass off him.

Bloke who sent a picture of his donk in a glass of red....

Bloke who took the girlfriend on a queensland hideaway while the missus worked.

And if the voters of queensland are unhappy with the current Labor government, then the wonderful Lawrence Springborg awaits your vote.

Hasn't gone to our legal system. The

decided not to go further due to insufficient evidence.

How long do we have to wait to find out the connection between these charming ladies who have made these accusations and the LNP.

They probably will, but the media won't report on it.

When my friend worked for the Greens, almost on a weekly basis Young Libs would create some bullshit scandal that they themselves had completely instigated and it would be posted in The Australian the next morning without any evidence what so ever. They got so petty here last election Young Libs literally made up a scandal that lost the Greens Representative's wife her job at the ANU because of bad press, even though a few weeks later she was completely cleared and it was found Young Libs made the entire thing up.

According to my friend, they would literally be stalked by Young Libs, they had people watching the office and literally following Simon Sheikh and senior campaign execs wherever they went.

Zed ran a brutally dirty campaign last election. It actually sickens me he's my senator. He's worse than Abbott.

Police do not say “innocent” they look for evidence and if none os found that is what they say. Courts can declare someone innocent of whatever charge they were indicted for.

So then the truth is that Gordon wasn't "cleared". There's just not enough evidence to secure a conviction.
