Cradle  to grave without government help.

They won't see that this century.

It looks good on paper ( for neo cons) but this is the REAL world.

It's great to see new parties emerging that don't follow the same old worn out agendas. Australia's future political landscape is going to be very interesting.

Hear hear.

The coming civil uprising in Germany is going to start the ball rolling all across the Western world so far as stopping this nonsense of immigrating our inherent enemies.

Even if that ever happens, what connection would there be with The Australian Liberty Alliance Party?

I disagree with ...

2. There should be the option for homosexual marriages that are distinct from hetero marriages, but no adoption of children.

4. We need unions to negotiate with the bosses.

9. Pro-British :Yes. But as for the monarchy and an Australian republic - let the people decide.

10. This is where the religious nutters come into the picture.

11. As above

I'll be ticking the box for them at the next election to give them a gee-up.

Bear in mind that so-called 'Rightwingers' can have very different ideas to one another upon various policy issues. The 'Right' is not a monolithic block. We can squabble among ourselves just as can any other people. Factions.

One remembers the old maxim: Two wongs don't make a white.

While a lamentable viewpoint in this day and age, it's always worth remembering that nowadays it's the minority view that attracts the media blowflies - the majority have no right to special consideration. The majority are merely the cash-crop to be milked for the benefit of the minority.

Referendums in this country are not run because they would reflect the majority opinion, and therefore could influence legislation. Better to say that referendums are too expensive and are not inclusive of all viewpoints.

My question is:

Who influences Governmental policy?

The silent, though divided, majority - or the organised vocal minorities?

Who really runs 'democratic' societies in today's Western nations?

I would be very surprised if they did. Both parties are still locked into the George Bush doctrine that "Islam is a religion of peace." In the short term, it is a safe bet.
