NASA suggests an increase in Antarctic ice
Nov 4th, 2015 at 6:46pm

A study published by NASA's Goddard Space Flight Centre suggests there is an increase of Antarctic snow which is adding enough ice to the continent to outweigh increased losses from thinning glaciers. But Antarctic scientists say more study is needed and people should not just disregard decades of Antarctic research.According to the lead author the study is based on East Antarctica and the interior of West Antarctica where he says there is an ice gain that exceeds losses in other areas. - See more at: http://www.skynews.com.au/business/tech/2015/11/04/nasa-suggests-an-increase-in-...

Not from the Daily Telegraph. It's from Sky News quoting a NASA report. Leftwits, attempt to refute.

Cherrypicking local effects does not refute global warming.

Also the report highlighted that oceans are still rising, so simply the systems involved are far more complex than they previously thought.

Though, leave it up to the Australian media to spin this into a "Climate change isn't real" story.

Yep, and those rains that Flim Flannery said would never be enough to fill the dams, eh?

CRA Mining 1989 pushed the same line.

If we used the same argument in everyday life, NOTHING would get done.

So CO2 may not be the Primary Driver of Climate Change?

But more ice is still leaving the Antarctic and forming and extending sea ice. When these shelves let go, drift off and melt they will cause significant sea level rises.

Sea ice melts and raises the sea level? Really?
