and yes... we seem to have the "thread" moving fairy on this week...

its ticked me off as well... especially in light of the "Fairy" not understanding the political issue within the thread...

So the implication of the OP is that this place was once relevant...

That's a surprise.

Anyone know what issue is the greatest of out time that was moved ?

Don't worry - found it - putting climate change in environment I am guessing?

I don't tend to get too passionate about where the anal's put things.

Not sure how you plan to win this debate by pretending to be obtuse.

I think the trick is that after about ten obtuse posts he can subtly change the topic to something he might be able to win.

May as well just read the Telegraph.

If you're still posting here and have an ounce of intellect, you're wasting your time.

This is not the site it once was.

You may be right.

But you're still posting.

Are you just 'wasting your time' or are you reminiscing?

Oh, I forgot! On your way out, any clever suggestions for a board that is 'relevant'?

Grin

hilarious...

what greatest issue  of our time are you talking about MOTR.. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes give us a clue

What debate? I chucked out an opinion and a comment.

You wish to respond?

Not sure how you plan to win this debate by not engaging in discussion.

Is that a little clearer?

There are some here who, like tony Abbott, rely on quick responses with little or no meaning.

Now I'm not going to lump MOTR in that group without proof, but there is a group here now exactly like that.

I call it the 'Corporal Syndrome' - the ego-need to have any response to any situation so as to appear to be in control and appear to know what you are doing, even when that response is totally ridiculous and you have no idea.

It's a very immature approach to any situation, and can get people killed.

Whether or not it applies to MOTR I will await..... on the results.

huh hum huuuuuuu

what ever he said.. I agree with it..hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

So finally we find out what the OP was about.  MOTR - who has hardly been here - rolls in to complain about the one in 999 posts on the topic being sent elsewhere.

A bit of an over-reaction I think!

Climate change is the biggest challenge of our time, the challenge is getting the scientifically illiterate to understand that nothing out of the ordinary has actually happened with the climate.  Smiley

And the thread fairy finally moved it. From what I can tell, the only function that mods perform is to move threads as they see fit and without rhyme or reason.

It explains a lot.

Let's call a spade a spade and have some courage people.  Perceptions Now is the GMod who moved it here from the Politicians Suck section, and he is the GMod who is mostly responsible for a Thread being moved, although FD is also not shy in that regard.  There can be rampant abuse going on all over the Forum, and yet you can rely upon PN to ignore all that as though he is completely blind but he will do a bit of furniture re-arranging.  Dunno why he bothers with the token effort.  Maybe to keep a firm grip on the carpark right beside the Pro Shop.
