if memory serves me correct... Melham just carried on the work that Bull Shitten had already set up...

although, documentation may have been lost in the shredder...  Angry

You were there ? It appears that memory hasn't served you very well though this is understandable with it being over 10 years ago. Maybe you should review your meeting notes.

Just watch.

Like the pink batts scheme, we'll have this lot whinging for the next 12 months, refusing to accept the umpire's decision.

Yes, after all no one really died in Labors pink batts disaster. No one had their house burn down and no one had their business collapse when Labor abruptly axed the deadly scheme!

Considering 1.2m homes were retrofitted with insulation, about 20 years worth of work, there were fewes deaths and fewer fires than if the scheme had not been introduced.

Can you show statistics for that? Seeing as the insulation installed was about reducing temperatures - what is the correlation to fires? I have never heard of the sun creating a house fire yet.

Were the deaths produced by AGW?

The problem with fires form these installations was highlighted by the volume of new installations from the scheme.

Prior to this the fires has been occurring at a higher rate for the previous 10 years or more but the lower volume of installations was masking the problem.

The fact that conductive sheets and electricity do not mix well was not a new discovery.

The level of ignorance on what a RC can do is mind blowing, even though I have explained it many times.  A RC does not have any power to charge anyone.  It can make findings and make recommendations, and those are merely administrative.  I have used to the Cole RC into the Building and Construction Industry which made adverse findings and recommendations against many people, and not one of them was even charged with any offence, let alone convicted.

Further, the RC has not made any adverse findings against Melham.  All that happened on Friday evening was that Jeremy Stoljar, the Barrister Assisting the RC (the Prosecutor, if you like) made submissions urging that the RC make adverse findings.

You'd be a bit of a DNA (aka fool) to believe Shorten has not been hammered badly by all of this. He was neck deep in shonky and unethical behaviour.  And his 17% polls - and dropping - are the evidence.

wouldnt it be the first time in history if a leader of one of the top parties in the country was charged with a CRIME?... lets be honest here.. shortarse takes all the credit whenever he can.. but --------------

its the usual case of pass the buck...is anyone surprised..look at THOMO they bent the rules so far I am surprised he hasnt been compensated for his time.. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes.. you just need the right mouthpiece or position..

why would thye try so hard to remove the JUDGE if he didnt have something to answer too..

I dont know who they think they are kidding...it just makes me more and more determined not to vote for either of the bastards....I wouldnt give them the time of day letalone my vote.

Charged with what crime, by whom? As far as I recall this was an investigation, one in which Bill was cleared. To claim that he is somehow guilty and charged with anything is completely irrational and unreasonable.

They only thing Shorten had going for him was not being Abbott. Honesty he is a terrible choice for leader, accusations aside.
