A police spokesman confirmed that at about 12.30pm the boy’s 38-year-old mother arrived at the address. She was arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station where she is assisting the investigation.
The Daily Telegraph reports that a 79-year-old neighbour Anna Marchione said it is not the first time that the teenage autistic boy has been in trouble.
'The little boy is not well,' she said. “He jumped the gate one day and ran around the back naked, with no clothes on, even in the street some times, that’s what I see.
'People like us, we don’t know them, we would like to help but we don’t know how.
'What do you if you have a son like that? You look after him. Many times we tell her, look after that boy.'

It was also reported that the family were from an African country with five or six children also living in the house, while their father no longer lived with them.
‘Police were called to a home in Blacktown at noon today following reports for the concern for the welfare of a teenage boy,' the police spokesman told Daily Mail Australia.
'The boy has been taken to hospital as a precaution as inquiries continue. Officers from Blacktown will investigate all circumstances surrounding the incident.
'This will include speaking to the boy’s mother and other relevant agencies.’

As the boy was being taken away a woman dressed in brown, who is thought to have been a family member, was seen speaking to police. At one stage the shocked woman sat on the grass near the house as police spoke to her.
She was later lead away by officers as police interviewed others in the area and worried neighbours looked on.
