Most atheists don't claim to disprove deities, they don't believe in them because there is no evidence for them.

Besides, you clearly haven't done the slightest jot of research on the group, or you would have discovered very quickly that:

What depicts that as a Christian church?

The gold leaf paint that has been stripped off the walls Wink

Of course.

It was once a Christian church but not any more. It is what it is.

It's not embarrassing and pointless to the people that go there. They must feel revitalised without being reborn......and they don't have to eat Jesus or drink his blood.

They need some sort of a common theme or interest otherwise they are going to be bored shitless with the small talk after a while and it just won't work. For example you need some sort of common hobbies, music performances etc

It's similar to the idea of an atheist bible which would basically contain nothing other than the two line definition of the word Wink

Atheists already have a dedicated group for that.  Check out the Satanic Temple.  US based group that exists mostly to highlight flaws in Americas' freedom of religion.   My favourite stunt of theirs was their protest that churches were giving out material at secular events, so they applied to do the same.  Thus the Satanic Children's Big Book of Activities was born.

Firstly I never said not everyone was welcome. You mean to say they believe that their is no evidence for them according to the atheists paradigm.

Every atheist I have met tells people that there is no god and that they believe in fairies down the back of the garden. When in reality all they have is their own belief that there is no god. They clearly can not prove that statement definitively anyway.

There is no evidence to suggest gods exist, so i won't believe in them unless such evidence presents itself.  I'm open to being proved wrong on that by the way.  What requires proof is a positive claim i.e.. no gods exist, YWVH exists, Allah exists, Ganesh exists

Most atheists don't DISBELIEVE in deities, they simply don't believe they exist.  Two separate things

That's why they believe in what they can not prove and go to church like rest of believers.

No they simply don't believe the evidence given them. What they accept as evidence is only according to their paradigm. So for you to definitely say there is no evidence that a god exists is exactly what I am talking about and bullshit.

Atheists have their belief/religion others have theirs.

Big deal, they are no different to others with different beliefs.

I'm curious a Christian would say this.  Does that mean that the things that you do in church that they do to are both embarrassing and pointless?  Or that belief in a deity is required for the exact same action to somehow take on a point?

I know we disagree, but I didn't take you for stupid.  You either know what was meant or you don't. If you do know then you are being mischievous. If not, then you are being stupid. IN neither case is an explanation warranted.  To be honest, that was a reply worthy of John Smith (other than the fact that there were too many words for it to be from JS)

We've seen your standard of proof expressed before. You don't accept evidence, only cold hard, irrefutable proof.  1+1=2 cannot be proven either.

Some things you just accept.

Atheists have a lack of belief.  If you think that makes it a belief then sure I guess.

OK fine then , give me your best evidence and why it necessitates a deity and we can see if it really is a reason to believe in a deity or not.
