I find female muslim dress appalling

The way they send young girls to school is child abuse if you ask me.
I had to drive into the outskirts of Sydney this morning and there it was, everywhere. It was a hot, sultry morning and young girls going to school and young women going to work were in dark clothing, heavy dark leggings under skirts and black headgear.

This is no way for people to dress in Australia. I don't know what other name you would give it but OPPRESSION!
Where is the womens' lib movement? Don't they have anything to say about this?

'Womens's lib' would say that a woman is entitled to dress however she chooses.

Nice loose linen or cotton shifts or whatever they call them. They treat the women worse than cattle.

Yes it does. Some of the most important and dangerous work being done to help women who are victim to oppressive regimes is done by feminists.

It is also feminists who kick up the biggest stink about it.
