That ought to sell some newspapers.

The time is nigh when we will have 'the terrorist channel'.....24/7 coverage of terrorist attacks.

The media are having a feeding frenzy with this one.

The 'terrorists' are getting far too much publicity, then national icons turn red, white and blue in solidarity with France. Surely the terrorists, if in fact there are any, would be calling this a hugely successful mission, got the whole world looking at us.....and then we have Barack Obama saying 'these people will be caught and punished'.....yeah sure Barack, George W Bush was saying that, how many years ago?

Personally, I think playing it down would be a better option, but that won't happen.

Yep, you nailed it.

However, spreading fear is the better option for newspapers and western governments.

It doesn't matter what organisation has claimed responsibility.

The people who are ultimately responsible are the individuals who did the killing.

You know ... the ones you are so desperately trying to shift the blame from.

No, clearly the correct course of action is to follow the script mapped out by the terrorists: reject any notion that there are muslims on "our" side who feel just as angry about these attacks as everyone else - and instead we should strive as hard as we can to paint *ALL* muslims as the enemy, tar them all with the same brush and target all of them in reprisals.

My question is -Why Paris?  Paris has long been a battleground between Israeli and Muslims, but what has this to do with the ordinary French man and woman?

Location?  A convenient and easy place to reach via several means?  The lack of discretion of the French in the past in taking in many from all kinds of countries?

Just asking - we all should know by now that the aim of a terrorist strike is to induce terror - in this case world-wide - and generate heaps of media coverage.  Without the media there would not be such a high rate of terrorist acts.

ok... I just thought you were sensible... my mistake...

I for one do not believe all muslims think like terrorist.....I do believe most are as scared of them as we are...... well me at least.....

I do not class all Christians as being the same either..some are/were  dreadful....looking at their past...

didnt they burn people THEY thought were witches..

people who thought different to themselves Roll Eyes Roll Eyes... had to be bad of course...burn em drown em...chop their heads off....all Christians of course...

but lets play pretend.... its much safer.. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I did hope I would have got a serious answer to my serious question.......does anyone have one?? a serious answer I mean?...just askin

Lol we haven't seen him for days and the SUNNI Canberra Islamic Centre  send in their own Jihadist to look after their apologists while they abuse people on Ozpol while Gandalfs brothers are killing innocent women and children in France.

Any intelligent person with any human decency would have banned Greg. I guess low intellect is the reason why they are muslim I guess.

Well said He Man. No doubt Freedivers pet Muslim GMod on the rampage permanently banned you through lack of self control for offending his sensitive muslim tendencies.

There is no evidence of the existence of a muslim, mohammed,or quran until 60 years  after mohammed was supposed to have died. Grin Grin Grin Posting on islam just encourages them and is a waste of time.

Ban?  For what - telling the truth?

"Yes, today and every other day - you're an apologist.

"You want to blame anything or anyone else for terrorist attacks, rather than the terrorists themselves.

"Stop making excuses for these murderers."

Are you an apologist for murderers too, and is that why you want me banned - you don't like being exposed?

I wouldn't normally issue perma-bans - but I figured you'd just employ yet another sock to take up the slack, so no real skin off your nose matty. And hey look - here you are - patting yourself on the back.

Apparently matty doesn't understand the difference between saying something he disagrees with and blatant personal abuse against other members.
