"My dad was pummelled (sic) to the ground where he was repeatedly kicked, racially abused and stomped while my mum screamed at them to stop."

The couple said their attackers repeatedly mentioned the attacks in Paris, ISIS and terrorism as they beat them.

A spokesperson for Scottish police said two men aged 17 and 35 had been arrested in connection to the attack, STV News reports.

They added police were searching for "a number of youths who were at the scene".

It was not the first time they have been attacked at the hospital, Ms Khalid wrote, but on this occasion Mr Khalid was hospitalised for 12 hours with extensive damage to his eye.

"My dad's eye is pretty messed up. It will take a while to heal," she wrote.

I dont think the mob asked if they are assimilated, nor did any evaluation before they set on the hapless guy. This is a violent crime, and its a shameful crime. The perpertrator should be punished to the fullest extend of the law.

Why do the muslims here have to answer for the terrorist's actions? They had nothing to do with it, they did not plan it. Did you have to answer for every crime that every non muslim did? Think about it.

It is almost bound to come to this. You have increasing Muslim attacks where ever Europeans gather: Bali, Tunisia, Egypt, and all over the Western World. 20 years of it. The frustration is sure to boil over when you have both Politicians and Police Commissioners insisting the atrocities have nothing to do with the Muslim community.

A most unfortunate reality is that after each atrocity the Muslims simply disown the problem. They never address the Fanatics, and those who send their condolences to the victims do so with caveats about Jihad being legitimate.
