I have always enjoyed entering new territories, and quite a few have enjoyed entering mine. But I shall always remember Lahore and its men, the city and the dreams of my youth.

so, how do you propose to talk to 'deathcultists' ?

Those sailors gave me Southern whiskey and introduced me to jazz. One had played drums for Chet Baker. He certainly had rhythm. After London and Paris, I was bound for New York, the Statue of Liberty singing like a siren on the banks of the Hudson River.

There, I would have many more amorous adventures, but that's the subject of the next chapter.

I do, I like people, all sorts of people, even white gays and gay Jews and the Greens and Albinos and pinkies....whites are not really white, are they? I call them pinkies, even though some are deeply tanned, they're browner than people from the Mediterranean.

Anyway, what's in a colour? I classify people, not by colour but by their individual conscience/consciousness.

People are people are people, I don't care what language they speak, what colour they are, what country they come from or what they wear, they are all human.
