If you keep congregating with large groups in the street and banging your tambourine, it might happen sooner than you think.

I've got more chance of dying in a plane crash.

You think that is some kind of significant improvement? Plane crashes are largely accidents - which typically cannot be easily avoided. Terrorism is not an accident.

And there is absolutely not a chance you understand this.

Completely irrelevant, as usual.

On the other hand, voices are growing louder in certain quarters that the West should withdraw all of its military presence in the Middle East, and let those warring parties sort it out amongst themselves.

And furthermore, the entire extended families of 'home-grown' terrorists should be summarily deported. Nothing other than this dire prospect would give pause to a young fellow contemplating jihad against the West or against innocent parties in the Middle East.

**

On another matter - how big is Raqqa? It's been bombed and missiled enough to flatten the size of New York into a giant car park, and yet apparently there are still buildings standing, and there are still hordes of ISIS personnel living in the city.

Something is not quite adding up here.

I don't give a toss.

Like I said, I've got more chance of dying in a plane crash than by ISIS.

Wouldnt you prefer that there was NO chance of being killed by ISIS? Isn't that a better outcome?

Ridiculous question, as usual.

Of course she would prefer that there was NO chance.

However, that does nothing to change the fact that we have more chance of dying in a plane crash than by ISIS.

Sweet maria, reading a thread is like reading a book. You start at the beginning and read through page by page.......only then do you get the story in context.

See I was answering Bogey who said if I keep congregating with large groups I might become a victim of ISIS.

............then I said da da da da da

I have more chance of dying in a plane crash, yes?

Muslims? I say.

Shouldn't we be starting with the 200 million in Indonesia? Once we've finished them off, we can move up.

Are you so sure of that?  What is ISIS's death toll this year.  500-1000?  How many people died in plane accidents? I think you will find that ISIS is more dangerous than flying.
