are you lefties going to advise your children to do this...

talk to strange men who are muslims on trains/buses...all in the name of friendship.

just checking..

What's wrong with saying hello? How are you?

huhummmmmmmmmmm OK if your ok with that..

I did askl

have you done it..

it all sounds great and wonderful and warm and fuzzy...

great and your mate has admitted lefties believe in teaching their kids to talk to strangers as FD has suggested....

I am not saying a word... I just asked a QUESTION...

why dont you try it.. and let us know how you get on???>.

if you so hell bent on it... FINE>..

I didnt say there was anything wrong with it..

all I asked was are you going to give it a go and tell us how it went??>.

how hard is that???>.

jS lets his kids talk to people on public transport he can tell us how they go... I am sure it is enlightening..

and I am just gobsmacked at the trust you all display I find it wonderful.

who knows this may be a new beginning...

I've raised my children to say hello, how are you to people. Sometimes you get a chat out it. Sometimes they shut you down.

What possible harm could there be in saying hello how are you to somebody?

talk to people? sure .... you mean to tell me that's not how you righties raise your kids?

No wonder most rightards spend all their time talking down to people Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

NOPE this righty would never teach her kids to chat up any STRANGER on a bus or a train....

good to know  you would though..

is that before or after the stranger danger chat??..

or isnt it politically correct to use the word DANGER when referring to muslims.. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

wait a minute in lefties world there is NO STRANGER DANGER. Roll Eyes..alls good.

I am just asking you see... a simple question...........

and you admit..

you really teach your children to chat to strangers.. well done...good to know you feel that safe and confident  in our country.

Chat up?

I think you're confused. I thought we were talking about talking to strangers on a bus or on a train. Not asking them out on a date.

I bet you're one of those people that gets into an elevator with another person, and you don't even say Hi, you pretend they're not there.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

dodge dodge I am talking about what the OP is about...

ok i know spell it out in Caps... and I didnt..

follow the OP and start from there..

he is talking about YOU starting a conversation with a MUSLIM and asking for HIS?HER opinion...

I just asked if you would be happy with your kids doing that..

and you said YES.. only righties are blah blah.. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I could say a lot of rude things about you... but I wont..

Firstly, my children are never unsupervised so there is no danger.

As i said, i'm not teaching them to go anywhere with a stranger, just to be polite and friendly.

You'd be amazed what good a little kindness does in the world.

I passed two of these in the street yesterday  ...

...

The slit was even narrower than that shown in the image.

Perhaps they should equip their attire with a door knocker so I could *tap tap tap* and say ...  "Hello how are you?"

Impossible to know what was even underneath it and those talking about letting their kids prance up and go *tap tap tap* have probably never even seen one in person.

what about school buses??...and or school rains... you are talking just about your own children.. I am talking in general as mine are all gone...however my 11 yr old grandson will be with me next year and he will travel by school bus to school..and back home.. not happy but he is an independent boy..and travel half way across Copenhagen on his own for school....but then so do most kids in Denmark...here it is different.. do you think I should encourage him to talk to some say hello how are you whilst waiting at the bus stop???>..

I have only heard about what happens to kids who meet strangers and are never seen again.,. or if they are its usually not nice...... I guess you dont hear about those  which is good.

btw...you wont be supervising your children forever.

There is no harm in saying hello how are you.

There is no danger in meeting people.

There is danger in leaving with that person but there is no danger in saying hello.

In relation to children approaching strange adults that is both an extremely naive and incredibly stupid outlook.

Did i say to approach them?

In passing, you say "Hello, how are you?"

Do you people really not live like that?

You just talk to them as you would to any other person. There's no science to it.

Nonsense.

Strangers on trains prefer to keep to themselves and not be intruded upon by suspect-homosexuals trying to crack onto them.

Don't be so bloody naive.

In Sydney saying "Hello" to strangers is the best way to get into some sort of trouble as it is in any big city.

You're just asking for trouble in today's world.
