We haven't had Automatic weapons available to the public since the 30s, when they were banned by every state in Australia.

I think your hysteria has caused a technical glitch in not being able to tell the difference between an automatic weapon and a semi automatic weapon, it happens with anti gun hysterics.

He really is an idiot. When was the last time we had a massacre? Oh yeah - Port Arthur. The laws introduced by Howard have clearly worked. That there is still gun crime in Australia is due simply to the fact that ALL guns have not been banned.

The Paris massacre was carried out with illegal weapons that no amount of gun control would have prevented, unless somehow you can get the ISIS state to implement gun control too, I will acknowledge though that Howards gun laws have definitely prevented massacres by lone mental patients that have no ability to source weapons illegally.
