Turnbull is all piss-and-wind.

Turnbull is slowly unravelling Abbott’s mandate and when he arrives home from the Paris Global Warming farce the only honeymoon remaining will be with the Left media,

I want a big powerful speech from Turnbull.

He can tell us what he's going to do.

You are extraordinarily shallow as well as having no clue on history.

You want to be ENTERTAINED, MOTIVATED, ENCOURAGED... all via youtube. But if you are ever asked to do anything - as Churchillian England was, you would run for cover when they stood up to be counted.

That WAS the start of a strategy. It was the drawing of the line in the sand after which we draw that line a little further on and the further on again.

Churchill's strategy started with s speech declaring where that line was. To date, the failure of western policy on islamic terrorism is that the line has not been drawn.

Honestly the best way to protect Australians from Terrorists is to integrate far better Arabs into the Australian fold and stand in solidarity and not fall for IS' game of fear that drives people to ostracize the Islamic community.

You can't actually protect people from Terrorists, all a Terrorist needs to do is make a homemade bomb from an online recipe and blow up a shopping mall, or buy an illegal firearm from bikies and shoot up a school. Not exactly hard. What needs to happen though is prevention and looking at the root cause of radicalization is the issue and generally it's angry, loner, young men who instead of engaging in self-criticism, instead blame everyone else for the fact they personally are unlikable or dickheads. This isn't unique among Islam, one only needs to go on Reddit or look at "Gamergaters" or PUA's to see the exact same thought process among young white men.

On action against IS. Sending is ground troops is a no no, I would even argue that mass bombing campaigns would further be counterproductive. Most join IS originally stemming from victimization from western foreign policy, instead of the west going in, the West should rely on and support the Kurds and "moderate rebels" to at least give the impression the region is sorting out it's own issues without Western imposition.
