What is the point of having children Bogarde? It's about the future, isn't it?

Now why should a segment of society who are not contributing towards the future enjoy a higher income lifestyle with no view to contributing towards society as a whole? Sure you could say they pay more taxes, but they enjoy a much higher quality of life (if you are thinking clinically, of course) than those who must sacrifice to have children. Isn't it only fair that the childless contribute towards the future in some way?

You are going to need somebody to wipe your arse one day. It may well be by the grown child of a single mother who had children to different fathers.

That's not reasonable. No matter your circumstance or your choices, if you live in this country you share the burdens AND the benefits. You don't get to pick and choose.
