It is more likely the people who's vote swings with age does so based on their position in society, those who will always vote on what they perceive to be their best interests.

People struggling through UNI are mostly financially struggling and a more left vote and position will be in their best interests where as they age and become successful they may see a vote to the right as a smart one.

There are a significant number of people who go through life only concerned about themselves and IMO it is more likely that this is the phenomenon which is measured in this seeming political development.

In my view people who politically lean left or right at a younger age probably continue with that view through life.

I suggest you call it naive but not left. Left on social topic and right on economy, will not be too bad.

I'll take up your word then, but I'd suggest they are "naïve" all over the shop not just on social issues.

Sure. But that doesn't excuse you from doing it too.

It's adversarial and it's stupid. People on each side are not interested in truth, or doing what is right - the just want a green light for crappy behaviour, and they think having an example of the other team doing something gives them that.

There seems to be a gaping blindspot where the left and their fabrication of social "science" and denial of biological principles and imperatives.

I know the stereotype is that "the right^tm" doesn't believe in evolution, and that might have been true 50 years ago, but now it's the left who apparently believe it, yet deny most of it's implications. But so long as they can point to a single case of a god-bothering right winger beleiveing in creationism, that's their green light to create and preserve their own fantasy bubble.

Also interesting that you talk about facts but as is usually the case have none.

Try telling the left here that propaganda is being shoved down kids' throats and they'll howl you down. Some are happy for it to happen, some don't want to hear about it, most are too dumb to realise it's a curriculum trying to become a religion.

I've heard some of the things they are influencing my grandson with and that's in a private Christian school. Of course some of the church people are the worst lefties, the Uniting Church for instance.
There's an irony for you. Green bleats about Christian education and they're doing his job for him.
