And there it is again.  An acknowledgment that your "team" concoct and disseminate baloney, but it's somehow OK because "they do it too".  How are you going to claim righteousness when you knowingly support lies?

It appears that I am wrong if I openly say the opposite to balance the argument and now I am also wrong when I point out that it is the same both ways.

I suspect that I can only win with you if I take the rights viewpoint and blame the left for everything.

Note that I used the word equal - meaning that it is as poor by both. OK I had to add a little dig but that is not really a big deal.

By the way I don't have a team.

A little birdy told me you belong to the 'righteousness' team  Grin Grin

Most would guess "lefteousness" there is a reason that right is specifically included in that term, that is a given.

Why would saying it is the same on both sides put me on any team ?

Didn't say that at all.

I conceded that many supporters of both the left and right have closed minds - that is all ?

I was thinking more of the topic in general at the time and not so much commenting on the rubbish posted.

On analysis your last sentence always seems to give your game away.

You should remember to stop before your last sentence IMobviouslyHO!!!

Yes, that's the idea - the final sentence is to state a summary of the point.  Why would I stop before that?

Let me state it again - spreading bullshit becasue someone else does makes you just as wrong as them.  If "the right" said that 2+2=5, "the left" would say it's -5.  Both are just as wrong.  If you ever see me supporting the usual bullshit asscoiated with "the right" - foreign intervention, climate change, creationism - feel free to call me on it.  I oppose bullshit no matter where it comes from, it's just that at this point in time, the left has the ascendancy and so has a platform to spew 10x more bullshit than the right.  Which is the bigger problem?

My mama told me "two wrongs don't make a right" and I thought that was a common lesson.  Not common enough, apparently.

Why would you think this with the right in government and in full control of the BullShit lever.

They even have a leader who is turn bull.

Stop the boats the adults are in charge the start of good government was even on the way, ditch the witch, Rudd the Dudd and Axe the Tax.

You would have to be Joking to think Labor has gone close to matching the rubbish from the right.

Because

a) "the right" does not = The Liberal party.  They might share a similarity occasionally, but in party politics the left/right dichotomy is wortheless.  A better one is globalists/nationalists - and there ain't no nationalists.

b) Culture is far, far, faaaaar more influential on society than party politics.  You could have Hitler as PM and it wouldn't matter a jot while our kids go through 1-2 decades of schooling by mushroom-haircutted ideologues, and consume hours of unashamedly leftwing popular media each day.

Not even in party politics, but atleast you understand that left v right is an oversimplicity for the purposes of propaganda that makes a two party system akin to one.

All of it supports standing armies that rule in the rich and rule out the poor in dodgy trade economics.

Now that's tribal... lucky we were born here and not Mali or something! What a wicked world!!

I don't know about the telegraph, but I check in on news.com.au (news ltd) and a glance at the homepage at any given time on any given day will reveal it's agenda, and it's identical to that of the huffington post.

And because I am not a fan of huge divorce settlements for women, they labelled me a misogynist.

All because my views are different from theirs.

Good points, Herbie. When those on this board have a different perspective to you, you label them traitors, cowards, scum, and heinous spineless apologists. You call for them to be banned. You argue for them to be dealt with - in the fullness of time.

Unlike these vile leftards, you have an open mind, no?
