A visit 20 years ago does not an 'expert' make. When was the last time you were in south west Sydney? It is verging on a no-go zone.

Why don't you worry about whatever little town in Queensland you live in and leave the truths about Sydney to those who live there and actually know what they are talking about.

I'm not talking about visiting relo's once a year .. I used to go out in Sydney on most weekends. Plus I often worked in Sydney, so pretending you have some sort of enlightened view just because you live there doesn't quite cut it.
