I didn't mean to infer intentions in the sense of law Cods ie intention to kill or not to kill.

What I meant to convey was following Allison's death, Baden-Clay engaged in a series of actions orchestrated solely to protect his own arse........hence, nothing else, or no-one else, mattered to him in doing so. Cold, calculated subterfuge.

Yes, yes, yes Aussie. thankyou, a Jury decided he Murdered her. And that should have been the end of it.

Before his Lawyers got in and muddied the waters in what was originally crystal clear.

A million dollars not an incentive when he is in bad financial trouble and his wife is giving him grief over his affairs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The insurance policy matter establishes motive.

Note it was taken out on HER life, not his.

Note it was one of the 1st things he chased up after he killed his wife and disposed of her body in the manner he did.

He then lied his way all throughout the investigation....right throughout the trial....and to this very day....he is doing whatever he can to edit his pathetic script....and save a little face for when he gets out.

The man is dangerous....and will die in denial.

it shows what a selfish self interested person he is..

I am glad to hear you say that.......I will read it again....as it says much about Gerard..

I remember reading about it when it was first in the media... and the picture they painted of him was he was almost biblical..almost saintly...how they spent time overseas working for charity...... when you read the book....it was her that had those traits...I have never forgotten the first impression I had of him.....no way did I suss he was involved in those first couple of days...

I am floating the theory that he is perhaps a sociopath.

Whether he is or not matters little. In my book he killed Allison Baden-Clay in cold blood, very likely for personal gain.
