The rest voted for verification.

The FBI Director said they do not have the database or resources to VERIFY the Syrians claiming refugee status

Therefore they do not have the database or resources to verify Muslims claiming refugee status

If you want people to come in UNVERIFIED then go ahead and take that to the next election

Even Di NaMonkey is not stupid enough to support the UNVERIFIED path.

2 glaring problems that make this the stupidest policy ever.

1) you have to close all borders, no more visas on arrival.
2) this would be unconstitutional, and thus the law would need to go to a referendum to first change the constitution.

The very fact that it's glaringly against our constitution shows that as we stand it is against the values we are meant to uphold. So much for all those "Australian" true blues crying to ban muslims. They clearly aren't real Australians.

Besides, passports specifically do not list religion. How would Customs officials at border points know who is and isn't Muslim?

I don't recall anything in the constitution which prevents that but I might be wrong.

Donald Trump just played his ... er .. trump card to boost his ratings in the race to the White House - and boy, aren't the Lefties going ballistic over this.

It's like beating a wasps nest with a stick. They are ANGRY ... and they are SWARMING ...

He's being demonised, crucified, and pilloried as no presidential hopeful before him except maybe George Wallace.

The fact is that Muslim immigration has brought with it a biblical plague upon Western societies as no other immigrant group has.
