I had anticipated reading that some pages ago and am surprised it took as long as this to emerge. Membership here is sought by FD, and there is no condition of payment. This is a Forum just like the separate PA is. The deal is that Members agree to abide by his Rules, and that is all. That is a question of Forum Membership, something entirely different to an entire Forum (separate to OzPol) bludging off a willing benefactor.

It would be like PA living under the auspices of fairbloodydinkum......not as Members of FBD but as a bludge on me (willing or not on my part.)

That doesn't make any any sense. Sought by FD? no condition of payment? A question of forum membership? ...which is different to ozpol.

Bit of a word salad there.

Basically you just want to burn down a clubhouse because you are not a member. Nothing more than that.

Concerns about bandwidth. Grin

You seem confused. Many people are Members of OzPol and many other places. What is being suggested is that an entire and foreign Forum (bludging off this site) ought now be adult enough to fund itself, find its own way. It has nothing to do with OzPol Membership or even FD for that matter. It ought be a matter of simple dignity, and self regard.

Indeed. Both Aussie and Jovial Monk have their own "successful" forums. In fact, Monk stole the PA concept and logo and created his own twitterblog version. Why don't they leave here?
