Human nature - Prang.

Driver in a car park, exiting with his vehicle, hits another parked car. What are the various plausible immediate outcomes, plausible in the sense of...."yeah, that's possible." What does that driver do? Stop, provide details, stop and pretend to provide details, not stop and hope there are no witnesses......what is the range of possibilities within your experience of human nature?

There are plenty of stories about people not stopping and hoping they will not be discovered.

But I'd probably wait a few minutes to see if the other owner turned-up, and if not, leave my card under his wiper, with details of the incident, time etc written on the back. Yes, I do actually have a business-card, and always carry a few in my wallet...

But I'm basically an honest person, so I'd like to think I'd do the right thing.

I think it's possible a driver might leave a card of someone else under the windscreen so if someone did see what happened, the witness would think....yeah, its under control and not bother taking rego details etc to report.

Yeah, everyone seems to know someone who left the following note:

"People are standing around watching me, thinking that I'm leaving my name and phone number after crashing into your car. You and I know different."

Heck Yes!!!! Happened to me..........unfortunately for the driver, a police officer witnessed her driving away.....
