We’re only nominating, Bobbie.

Longy will still need to vote himself in.

Longy has an advantage - he can get 3 votes:

himself
Maria
& Gold Medal

Longy doesn't need votes. He'll just declare himself the winner.

Remember, he's already been nominated by Maria. He's that good, you know.

Yes - Longy will sweep in at the last moment with a mathematical proof that He is the Best Poster, backed by unimpeachable credentials and reliable sources such as the Liberal Party private bar chat, and nobody will be able to dispute that finding because they are too dumb, uneducated, gay and non-attending of Hillsong....  all highly relevant and proven ways of taking down anyone who opposes your viewpoint.... and all above board, too!

He's that good!

“The correlation of the assumptatory expectation added to the deemed merital value of the mean of both V1 (vilification of opponents) and AP1 (personal attribution without support), multiplied by (ID) the inherent bias/Discrimination of any opponent, produces a result that is determined by VAPID, and is thus defined.”

Longy's Theorem of Resolution of Voting.

You can, but just remember that Maria is quite new to the board. She's still learning our ways.

I would prefer to second Maria's nomination of Longy. Maria is obviously quite protective of Longy's legacy here, even though she has not actually read his work.

This, I think, is an example of just how good Longy is.

Exactly. Longy will indeed seize the prize, even if it is not granted to him.

If not, I'm sure Maria will grant Longy this award.

You'll need to go after Longy, Sun Tzu. I'm sure his acceptance speech will thank all the members of the board for their fine contribution to Australian social and political intercourse.

IDIOTS.

I was going to nominate myself for douche of the year(I'm a big fan of setting the bar low) but now I see that this award has morphed into a much more complex passive-aggressive irony laced chalice than I originally thought. I don't think I can handle that kind of pressure.

My congratulations and condolences to the eventual winner should one be decided Wink

I think Mr Abbott got that one, Pho, but I'll second your nomination if you want.
