I remember when Abbott voiced his concerns that ISIS militants may seek to enter Europe by posing as refugees. The LWNJ brigade laughed at him and said he was scaremongering. Sadly, it looks like it is Abbott who has had the last laugh, as the authorities investigating the Paris attack find still more terrorists who entered Europe on documents falsely stating they were Syrian refugees. Abbott wasn't/isn't scaremongering. He's calling a spade a spade while everyone else falls over themselves, grovelling, in their attempts not to put Islam and terrorism into the same sentence.

Wrong again - the first comment was closer.

Actually when Labor elected their leader I preferred the other guy. I would expect Shorten to be an OK PM. certainly better than Abbott and probably better than Turnbull as he is shaping up as more of a disappointment day by day.

You probably missed it but I think I am the only poster to defend Tony's right to continue in his electorate if he wants to.

Ah the utter embarrassment of the Roids on here, desperately trying to defend Mr Abbott. Who cares about Shorten? The Labor mob can change Leaders all they like in Opposition. The Roid worry on here is the continuing whiteanting of the Turnbull Government by Tony. He will not resign, he will stay on the back bench hoping for another shot for the front one. Turnbull should give him a diplomatic posting somewhere where he won't cause too much damage to Australia - Antarctica sounds good.
