The arch betrayal of the Libs to the people of Aus
Dec 20th, 2015 at 4:28pm

Only now is the penny finally starting to drop. Only now is the reality of Malcolm Turnbull P.M. beginning to sink in.

Firstly Malcolm Turnbull has never led his Party to victory at the polls.

Like Gillard before him he achieved his lofty post like a thief in the night, putting the knife straight between Tony Abbott's shoulders.

Abbott drew polarised positions from people. However, what he said he would deliver he did.  Within days of gaining office 'The boats stopped'. The plague of Country Shoppers plugged the Pirates of Indonesia put back where they came from.

Abbott never ran from a battle but the one thing he couldn't run from was the consistent and insistent white anting campaign carried out by Turnbull and his cohorts.

Ever the smooth smiling assassin Turnbull waited and moved when Abbott ran into stormy weather.

Now we have 12,000 Syrians coming here, forever to bleed off the largesse  of the Australian Taxpayer to the tune of 885 million dlrs a year.

And yet we have this same self Government crying because it can't make budget and dwells Labor like in deficit.

Turnbull's bowing and scraping to the United Nations is cringeworthy. If you have something to say over there Malcolm, get up off your knees to do it.

One can only begin to wonder what else Turnbull has in store for this Country but I tell you now, they will be bitter pills to swallow.

Off subject but I'll answer you with this Swagman and little birdie told me that Baird's long game is to sell the Blue Mountains Rail net to private enterprise...that sounds about right for Baird a flimflam man if ever I saw one.

WE have about as much hope for elevators for the disabled as an ice cubes hope in hell under Baird.

Now...can we get back on thread?

Yes, yes.  You've said that before in many Threads.

Quote:
Firstly Malcolm Turnbull has never led his Party to victory at the polls.

Amazeballs.

Quote:

Only four clichés.  More amazeballs.

Quote:
Abbott drew polarised positions from people. However, what he said he would deliver he did.  Within days of gaining office 'The boats stopped'. The plague of Country Shoppers plugged the Pirates of Indonesia put back where they came from.

More clichés, and all hard pressed.  'What he said he would deliver he did.'  Really?

Quote:
Abbott never ran from a battle but the one thing he couldn't run from was the consistent and insistent white anting campaign carried out by Turnbull and his cohorts.

(More clichés.)  True.  I doubt the idiot even saw it coming such is/was his self belief in 'born to rule.'  The bloke is just.............weird........ in that regard.

Quote:
Ever the smooth smiling assassin Turnbull waited and moved when Abbott rain into stormy weather.

(More stretches with clichés.)  That's politics.  When will you get a solid grasp of that?  Have not the last six years informed you that it is all about numbers, back bench survival, and opportunism?

Quote:
Now we have 12,000 Syrians coming here, forever to bleed off the largesse  of the Australian Taxpayer to the tune of 885 million dlrs a year.

Meanwhile, Europe drowns in millions and you are so *whatever* that you begrudge 12,000 of the fallout of a circumstance we were/are directly responsible for.  Arabia is the Land of Arabs, and we have zero role there.  Zero.

Quote:
And yet we have this same self Government crying because it can't make budget and dwells Labor like in deficit.

I do not see a Government crying at all.  I see a pair of idiots trying to sell me snake oil.  *Budget emergency* when Labor was in Government.  "Oh, just nothing to worry about," now.  You don't see the politics at play at all, do you.

Quote:
Turnbull's bowing and scraping to the United Nations is cringeworthy. If you have something to say over there Malcolm, get up off your knees to do it.

Gawd, is there any unused cliché?  What makes you think the UN gives a twopenny stuff what Australia thinks?

Jovial Monk, you are correct, Abbott did indeed authorise 12,000 Syrians to come here. My apologies for misleading, genuine error on my part.

I stand by the rest of the post.

just think RB if your had shortarse up there it would be 20.00 Syrians.....Abbott said those treated the worst meaning Christians would be considered first and foremost.. and quite a few redneck lefties on here screamed like banshies.....

as far as I know nothing has been changed...although I do believe muslims are in the first batch.. for years now the Left have complained the Libs dont do enough for asylum seekers.. or refugees whatever they are called these days..

and now its 12000 is too many.. what about the 50.,000 krudd allowed in.???

as for the UN>.. it was krudd who spent zillions on getting us a seat on the UN....

its was Labors idea it was their main goal ...

what bowing and scrapin gis he doing????>..

that upsets you?...

dont tell me its talking to SYria and ISIS>.. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

no really!

Wow, this has to be one of the most delusional threads I have ever read. Tony delivered? The whole reason he lost all his political capital was because he failed to deliver what he promised.  The 12,000 - a tony policy. And what bowing to the UN?

Yet Julia Gillard did???

Agreed although Julia Gillard won an election in her own right. Perhaps Malcolm will still achieve this!!!

Abbott drew polarised positions from people. However, what he said he would deliver he did.  Within days of gaining office 'The boats stopped'. The plague of Country Shoppers plugged the Pirates of Indonesia put back where they came from.

Indonesia are wearing the brunt of Australian domestic policy. It is only because of Australia's double standards there are any asylum seekers in Indonesia at all!!!

Quote:
Abbott never ran from a battle but the one thing he couldn't run from was the consistent and insistent white anting campaign carried out by Turnbull and his cohorts.

The exact same thing Julia Gillard endured from Rudd and Turnbull is now experiencing from Abbott....Abbott has been treated no different to everyone else including Turnbull!!!

Quote:
Ever the smooth smiling assassin Turnbull waited and moved when Abbott ran into stormy weather.

Just like Abbott will do when the situation arises and Abbott will do everything in his power to ensure it happens as soon as possible!!!

Quote:
Now we have 12,000 Syrians coming here, forever to bleed off the largesse  of the Australian Taxpayer to the tune of 885 million dlrs a year.

Would have been the same no matter who was leading the Liberal Party but how do you come to the cost of 885 million dlrs a year???

Quote:
And yet we have this same self Government crying because it can't make budget and dwells Labor like in deficit.

Yes the hypocrisy is astounding....When the ALP where in power the global economy (according to Abbott and his followers) had no bearing on Australia and now it has everything to do with it!!!

Quote:
Turnbull's bowing and scraping to the United Nations is cringeworthy. If you have something to say over there Malcolm, get up off your knees to do it.

Yet Julie Bishop announced Australia will take another tilt at the UN....Go figure!!!

Quote:
Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has announced Australia will launch a bid to sit on the United Nations Security Council in 2029 and 2030.

One can only begin to wonder what else Turnbull has in store for this Country but I tell you now, they will be bitter pills to swallow.

Turnbull is a snake oil salesman but he has more credibility than Abbott and Shorten so far!!!

Yes, I didn’t say you lied, just thought you were wrong.

Some people call Malcolm “left wing” AS IF! He has a high proportion of gay people in his electorate so he makes soothing sounds on a couple social issues—but kept abbotts stupid policy about a plebiscite.

turncoat has betrayed our future prosperity, condemned us to second class by destroying the real NBN. He is as rightwing a neocon as abbott, just more articulate. I believe he will lead the Libs to an even bigger loss at the next election than abbott would have. And the Libs will deserve that.
