wow .... that's your reason? they no longer have sheep in the paddocks so you have to blame someone?? Change = progress . Deal with it. My grandfather says it's all changed too .... i farkken well hope so.
Yes, I had the same reaction when I read Homo's post.
He really is frightened of change (which is a shame).
I embrace change, and make the most out of it.
I've seen my suburb change dramatically too, but I don't complain about it.
Instead of having just pizza shops and coffee shops, we now have Chinese, Mexican, American, Indian, Himalayan, Korean, Turkish, Japanese, Italian, Lebanese, French, Vietnamese, and Thai restaurants to name a few.
How lucky am I?
so, some of the changes including
1 massive increases in divorce rates
2 same for depression and anxiety
3 same for obesity
4 no longer do people have a job for life but are constantly concerned re job security
5 environmental degredation
6 traffic congestion
7 unaffordability of housing to first home buyers
8 retirement age lifted to 70
9 HIV
10 rising domestic violence
glad you embrace change.
i think i'll stick with the 60's if its all the same to you
