Yes, I had the same reaction when I read Homo's post.

He really is frightened of change (which is a shame).

I embrace change, and make the most out of it.

I've seen my suburb change dramatically too, but I don't complain about it.

Instead of having just pizza shops and coffee shops, we now have Chinese, Mexican, American, Indian, Himalayan, Korean, Turkish, Japanese, Italian, Lebanese, French, Vietnamese, and Thai restaurants to name a few.

How lucky am I?

so, some of the changes including
1 massive increases in divorce rates
2 same for depression and anxiety
3 same for obesity
4 no longer do people have a job for life but are constantly concerned re job security
5 environmental degredation
6 traffic congestion
7 unaffordability of housing to first home buyers
8 retirement age lifted to 70
9 HIV
10 rising domestic violence

glad you embrace change.

i think i'll stick with the 60's if its all the same to you

You're quite the pessimist, aqua.

If the ABC is anything to go by, we already do live in North Korea. Be nice for them to provide some balance and alternative points of view other than extreme Left.

your comment might be valid except that they've had at least half a dozen inquiries into it, with none finding any bias. As a result your comment gets thrown into the 'another dumb comment' pile

All run by the ABC or related people.

Wrong.

Very wrong.

You've already been pulled-up more than once over this BS.

Not as lucky as Homo, Greggery. He went to school with a boong. He has a tree-lopper who lives next door.

You live in a white enclave compared to Homo.

I suppose he'll be having roast goat for Christmas dinner.

Yes.

Aqua wants to take us back to a time when children were not restrained in cars, smoking was permitted on planes, asbestos was a wonderful product, and drink driving was the norm.

now now Gweg, youve got yourself a nasty addiction to that little hit of dopamine every time someone validates you by responding to one of your silly posts.

you need to get yourself a patch to fight off this addiction.

learn to get that hit of satisfaction in other, more healthy ways

lifting weights
reading a good book
doing an online course

oh I see ... you wanted to cherry pick what you thought was good about the 60's, and hope no one mentioned everything else.

I think I'm starting to get the hang of this rightard positivity that you and your horses rave on about all the time.  Grin Grin Grin Grin

this is true.

one needs to deal with ones family friends and horses in a mindful way (kindness, encouragement and challenge).

one makes of oneself an "awesome party" but one has a very "strong door"

sorry but you and gweg arent allowed into my club.
you are both too scrubby.
work on self improvement though and get in the queue next year  Wink

Because of people like you we now have Islamic terrorism on our shores.

This is where your argument falls over.

We have had Muslims since the early 1800's, they are not some new import.

Islamic terrorism has been a thing for about 60 years( since the victors of WWII decided Palistians didn't deserve their country) & has only expanded from the ME in the last 20 ( thanks to the destruction of secular regimes which have been replaced by Theocracies.)

Have a good hard think about that & then ask who is the consistent force in all issues.

Hint starts with U & ends in A  & we have been in lockstep with them all the way.
Early Australia had a minute amount of Muslims. It was a couple of thousand in a hundred years. Now we have 500,000+ plus who are  having piles of kids. Because of you lefties Islam in Australia will be a major demographic in the future. And you know what happens then, don't you?? Huh

Can you post a link to your data?

Seems you fall into the catagory of Delusional

there are 382,000 Muslims in Aus 2% of the population.

Any opinion on the history lesson?
Wikipedia- Islam in Australia is a minority religious affiliation. According to the 2011 census, 476,291 people, or 2.2% of the total Australian population, were Muslims.[1  ........Another wrong leftard Grin Grin Grin Grin.

You'll have to take a trip in the Econovan and get some halal KFC from Lakemba sweet ass. Otherwise hubby will puke all over your burqa and lock you in a dog kennel.
