That's right. And it's not my blood....it's AiA's.

I had no idea about this topic until that multi troll Phemanderac brought my attention to it today in another topic....by copying and pasting AiA's post.

Anyway.....

You're welcome.  Wink

Oh rack off multi troll.

And FYI, I can tell it's YOU AUSSIE who is presently using that shared nic.

Utterly pathetic!

You are still welcome, despite the abuse...

Oh I'm not abusing you Phemanderaussierac.

I'm merely indicating my utter abhorrence at your multi trolling.

Ahhh I cannot wait for Phemandermonkrac to log on.

I can assure you that he too will get a serve of my utter abhorrence to his multi trolling.

What an utterly pathetic display by you both!

Angry

The increase in shark attacks can be almost entirely attributed to an increase in the numbers of humans in the water. Not just an increase in beaches near the major cities, but also the spread of the population into areas that were sparsely populated. Especially in Australia. We love a good beachside property.

Now thats part of it for shore for shore  Roll Eyes but I still reckon THE WORD IS GETTING OUT.

I think this whole thing with the increases in shark attacks on humans ..world-wide, is predicated on their survival.
Sharks have been around a whole lot longer than surfers and swimmers,  AND .. Wink these hungry predators are finally getting the message. It is sinking into the shark senses, that there is a new form of food available.. and they are pretty easy. Slow, in fact, not like seals.  So, the word is getting around.. there is some tasty tucker to be had.

ONCE upon a time, this was all new to them. NOW  they are spreading the word. Expect an exponential increase in shark attacks on humans in the next few yrs.

I agree entirely.

Animals know where the pickings are good.

Yes . Indeed they do.

bad luck with a shark:

Quote:
A Venezuelan man whose boat capsized off Aruba in the Caribbean has died after a shark attacked him in the middle of a rescue attempt by coastguards.

The Dutch Caribbean coastguard said the man, who was one of seven Venezuelan men thrown into the sea after their boat sank, was moments from safety when the attack took place.

In an extraordinary tale of terrible luck, spokesman Roderick Gouverneur said that the man was clinging to a rescue buoy when he was spotted by the coastguard helicopter, which lowered a rescuer to winch him to safety.

However, just as the rescuer was about to reach him, the man was attacked by a shark, suffering fatal injuries.

Beach closed to swimming 'cos of a pack of sharks..!!

They said fifteen were cruising the shore. Cheesy

What do you expect when we reduce their food supplies.
What about whales too?  Just as they repopulate after the decimations of the past,  NOW we have giant conglomerates stripping the sea of Krill.  Cheesy

Oh Em, stop it! You're giving me a shark attack, shark attack.. shark attack! You're giving me a shark attack!
More of us go swimming every year, increasing their food supply. Perhaps Tony should swim more often.

Sharks have finally worked out that humans declared war on them for their feeding habits, and are now retaliating.... and are working as a team...... no more Lone Wolf sh!t.. bringing back a few ears after a night out alone.... like a fifteen year old Bosnian boy I met once ....

I expect they'd eat the ears.. or leave them for the lesser sea critters.

They are supreme in their environment and don't need to prove it. Still, if we keep on taking their food, we'll rise to the head of the menu. Smiley

cannot do I'm afraid.. need an update..

but .. they're even less appetisizing than Chicken's feet. OR it could be the other way around.

( had a traditional Chinese meal  Smiley once)

I actually preferred the jellyfish tentacles dish. The pigs's trotters weren't too bad, but the plain steamed fish was really yuk. Yeeuw Shocked

I stuck with the chili prawns as much as possible, and the rice.

you guessed it!!

Shark Attack.!

Near Yeppoon .. a swimmer was attacked today, and is now in a very serious condition in Rockhampton Hospital.

Locals expressed disbelief .. so rare,  practically unheard of in that area of the Queensland Coast.

Word is definitely out.
