Why is their background important?

Because islanders are a crime epidemic in Australia. They have a section of their community doing violent crimes.

There are sections in all communities committing violent crimes.

Why is it important that the ABC only mention the backgrounds of these two who people?

Why not. They mention it when they are Caucasian. Islanders are a big problem in Queensland and other places they live.. That's why.

Pacific Islanders, if you are out on the town, keep a good lookout for the Islanders, they love trouble in all shapes and sizes.

Am I pidgeon holing them?

Damned straight I am.

No they don't.

They'll only mention things like that if the alleged criminals are on the run (so that the public can identify them and report any sightings to the police).

These two are in custody, in case you hadn't noticed.

The police know exactly who they are. They've been charged.

Their backgrounds are completely irrelevant.

So, why then would the ABC need to report on their Islander backgrounds?

And, did they really "refuse", or did you just make up that part?

Many cocnuts do cut trees down for a living actually Knowledge. Being from Western Sydney you should know that. Pecca knows nothing about islanders being from Victoria Park.

That question is for someone else.

So, why would the ABC need to report on their Islander backgrounds considering the fact that they are already in custody?

I didn't ask the question. If the abc  did then I'm glad. Ethnic problems need to be reported and acknowledged. That's the first step towards fixing a issue.
