NSW cabinet documents leaked in September also revealed that the state government plans to sell 27 TAFE sites including the Epping, Dapto and Chullora campuses.

Misleading title for this topic. No mention whatsoever of "jobs for the boys", simply creating some new positions within TAFE NSW. Don't let the truth get in the way of a good lie, will you now?

Too late to worry about closing schools after you vote for a Liberal government.

You already made the mistake.

I am sure that this means something. I can say that Labor have been guilty of doing the same thing.

To me the main issue here isn't the stupid employment of high paid executives while trying to reduce costs but the closing of many education facilities.

Local education facilities make education accessible, closing schools is never a good idea.

What need does an unemployed, under-employed and largely unemployable mass of the people need education for?  The mines are closed, the industrial base is on its knees and awaiting the final bullet to the head, the public service etc has been feminised to establish a tame workforce, trades are only there to repair your deteriorating household, there are ten positions available nationwide for hustlers to sell you stuff and manage your money for you, and everyone knows that educating people for no jobs available is a waste of money.

The concern is that these 'executives' are not actually running TAFE, but are overseeing its destruction.  Now what kind of person do you think will get that kind of job?  Some 'screaming leftie' sheila latte` drinker with a bleeding heart over poor kids in depressed suburbs needing a fair go, thus destroying the chances for the kids in the private schools whose parents spent soooo much to get them a proper eddication?

NO!  It'll have to be someone who knows how to make the hard decisions... and make someone else wear them........ that's what hard decisions are all about.... next step a position on the LNP ballot paper, then maybe an Ambassadorship... the world's the limit.....

Told you Baird was a shonk from Day One.... now we're experiencing his Day Zero, just like every other limited intellect petty Fascist in history has to have.......

Strange given...the vast majority of public servants are Labor supporters.

Just look at the ACT.  It is Public Servantville and always votes Labor.

Why wouldn't they?  Labor are pro big-government.

Big-Govt translates to "let's bleed the tax-payer dry"  Grin

Seriously?  You reckon all those senior public servants vote Labor?

Bairdie is improving 'big government' - defined by concentrating the power into  fewer hands thus exerting greater power, and paying handsomely for it, while reducing the effectiveness of it.

How is that not big government destroying itself and its people?

Insolence of office....

If the public service were a political party, they'd definitely be the ALP.
