you misconstrued what I said. However, that fact that it is a manual process and subject to personal assessment is an extraordinary admission since it basically means they are GUESSING. i thought the point of data was that it was not subjective. in any other field of study you would be ridiculed, derided and possibly sacked (or worse). but climate science is a law unto itself.

My version of history says that socialism was responsible for the reduction of working ours, while the capitalist machine resisted to the end, it still is. Today in Australia we have the removal of penalty rates for Sundays and the erosion of wages generally. Working hours have been increasing beyond what people are paid for.

Lately, in connection with the penalty rate issue has been a media campaign to warm up the sheep for the introduction of 'tipping' as a norm in Australia. This would create a tolerance for a further reduction of hospitality and catering wages with tipping making up the difference.

If you like capitalism so much move to America, it's home. Seen the average wage there lately? Free market capitalism has no soul, no conscience, humans are resources to be used.

I cant really see that the world is ready for a UN at this stage.
the UN will work when people reach a state of very high consciousness living.
If you go to a under 7's soccer match, you will see parents exhibiting competitiveness, tribalism and vicarious ego association.

If people are divided on something as trivial and unimportant, how can they be brought together on something as big as "planet earth"

One just needs to realise that this is the reality .

the people who advocate most strongly for the UN are those who are also mindlessly in a position of low consciousness living where they seek to inflate their ego with fake moral superiority.

If the UN has an aim of world peace and cohesion, i see the leftie activists as "so far removed" from this aim, that they are not part of the solution, they are just another part of the problem.
