Yes, you've got to look at who benefits from these "equalisation" schemes. If you're behind the curve, of course you'll support it, because it gives you a leg up. If you're ahead of the curve, you won't because you'll be dragged back to the pack.

this is true but the world is a paradox.
as more and more people submit to leftard groupthink, they vacate an ENORMOUS field of opportunity for those who can maintain focus and be strong in the face of social pressure.
You just have to flip it and feel your strength growing the more they become emotional and neurotic. Its a nuanced point but i sometimes think the truly powerful people feed the leftard narrative precisely to protect their own position.
