I will accept the heartfelt let em stay.. from the left..
when they all tell us how many they are talking in .......
somehow I dont see them putting up their address' so we can send them to the minister....and he can allocate them their own special families.....
funny they only want the govt to do their bidding........ so much for bleeding hearts..
Come on cods, this is just absurd.
Firstly, as if the acceptance of refugees hinges on the 'bleeding hearts' putting up their hand and volunteering to house them.
Secondly, its just plain wrong to say that these people haven't volunteered their time, money and yes, their own homes to help refugees. Do a bit of research and look up all the volunteer organisations that do the vast majority of the heavy lifting in terms of helping them settle in to their new home, banking, getting their kids to school, teach them english - all the countless work required for refugees to settle in. An army of 'do gooders', 'bleeding hearts', whatever you want to call them - actually getting out there doing stuff, sacrificing a *HUGE* amount to help these refugees.
