I don't think this bloke getting arrested for a pig hat is a justification for banning Muslim immigration. I do not think immigration policy is a threat to freedom and democracy. We are simply not capable of projecting our rights and freedoms beyond our borders, and an open border would inevitably erode our rights and freedoms. I don't think we should discriminate against Muslims in our immigration policy. Rather, we should discriminate against people who are ideologically opposed to freedom and democracy. It's a subtle distinction, but one I'm sure you would appreciate.

Don't worry S, your fascist credentials are not in doubt. You and sprint are in a race for the bottom - and proudly so.

Its FD I'm more interested in. He at least pretends to be all concerned about freedom and rights. I'm just interested in what he thinks of the likes of you and your 'ban them, deport them' mantra, especially when its invoked in response to an action that didn't even involve muslims.

For some reason he never says anything against such blatant attacks on people's freedom.

I don't think this bloke getting arrested for a pig hat is a justification for banning Muslim immigration. I do not think immigration policy is a threat to freedom and democracy. We are simply not capable of projecting our rights and freedoms beyond our borders, and an open border would inevitably erode our rights and freedoms. I don't think we should discriminate against Muslims in our immigration policy. Rather, we should discriminate against people who are ideologically opposed to freedom and democracy. It's a subtle distinction, but one I'm sure you would appreciate.

Do you think though that the sentiments expressed by Soren and Sprint calling for such blanket bans and institutionalised discrimination - as well as celebrating violence against refugees, is a threat to freedom and democracy - that we should speak out against?
