Yes, our laws can be changed, but we can't simple put people on aeroplanes and expect foreign countries to let them in. (Like Labor immigration policy). The foreign countries would send them right back to us.
But would they?
If they came with a 'dowry' to the country I doubt they would be stopped at the airport. And then there's our Foreign Aid that can be used as a bargaining chip.
Or deport them to whichever Western country will have them.
The time for capitulation and soft options in dealing with these people is coming to an end.
Good to see you finally working on process, Herbie. Before we get onto bargaining with a few million in foreign aid (which we mainly only give to countries in our own region), can I ask how we’ll get the referendum happening?
We’ve all heard the bit about capitulation and soft options, so it would be great if we can get down to brass tacks and nut this out in
practice. We need to ban Islam, Arabs, and probably Africans and Asians as well (you can’t be too careful here). No more tourist or study visas either. And we need to convince all the major parties to support this so that we can put it to the Australian people. Fingers crossed, after a few goes, they’ll vote overwhealmingly in favour of our plan.
After that, we can work out a way of sending all the ones we’ve already got somewhere - using aid as a bargaining chip or asking England to take in a few million more. They won’t take the dirty reffos we’ve got stashed away on Pacific Island camps, but they’re sure to take a few second or third generation Aussies - in the fullness of time.
So - let’s get cracking. Don’t forget, Herbie, we’re brainstorming. There can be no dumb suggestions here.
