I agree.

Saying we have shared values with Japan is simply stupid in the extreme. Nothing showcases this better than the slaughter of whales and dolphins, and many other cruel practices of the Japanese oriental mind.

They have a minimal immigration program and no multiculturalism. No mosques in every second suburb - (for which I congratulate them for their foresight).

Perhaps Tony has been having too much sake over there.

Mr Abbott is getting at the US global order and a little thing called democracy. That’s what he means by shared values - something the Philippines, Taiwan and other countries who’s sovereignty is under threat by China share.

What does this have to do with the Oriental mind?

No, both he and Abbott are just calling it like it is. The Greens and Labor would rather we take one up the tailpipe from China rather than talk about this openly.

China puts people in labour prisons and their jails are squalid. Ours are luxurious by comparison and we don't have a single labour prison.

Not a single mention of China.

GW is just getting his boot licking down-pat early just in case we're invaded by China.

The Spratly Islands dispute isn't cut and dry ... and that seems to have missed Abbott and his follower's attention. Abbott warmongering is just him grandstanding by throwing grenades.

It's a lame attempt of abbott wanting attention ... now that he is a backbencher, and possibly losing that seat at the next election.

If Turnbull wasn't such a eunuch, he would put abbott on a leash.

Did the coalition back Gitmo, and the torture of Australians and others in it?

You are seriously deluded. Where are these hard right hawks?

No amount of bombing from distant bases will ever defeat ISIS. Abbott is totally correct in believing that only troops on the ground will clear ISIS out of Syria and Iraq.

Boots-on-the-ground will not defeat ISIS, of course, but at least it would create safe territories for the local citizens.

Yes, In response to your statement that right wing hawks wanted "a war against China", I asked where are these right wing hawks.

You then went off on a tangent and cited ISIS.

Talk about comprehension issues.

Selective reading on your part ... totally ignore Abbott's warmongering in the article. Abbott and other hard right hawks want a war ... any war. Abbott provoking in the middle east, now against China.

Same old, same old tactic from you. Go off tangent and then bark at the moon ...  post after post, after post, after post, after post, after post  ...

Abbott is a hawk, as are most who support him.

...

Any simpleton can type "political hawk" into a search engine, and come up with the answer to your question. You'd have to go out of your way to manage to get RJ Hawk into the top results.

OK, I tried it again and I had obviously typed HAWKE into Google .... ooops.

So a "political hawk" is described as:

Quote:
A war hawk, or simply hawk, is a term used in politics for someone favoring war in a debate over whether to go to war, or whether to continue or escalate an existing war. War hawks are the opposite of doves.

When was Abbott a war mongerer?

So, if Abbot is a "hawk" who is a "dove"?  Roll Eyes

PS.  Nice to see you here Boxhead, still being rude to me, I see.  Wink Are you still on Aussie's "team"?  Grin
