I asked because I made a comment on another thread that I believed most posters here were over fifty and that younger people, like you, we're probably not as interested in forums as the older generation, like me.

From 20 to 30 if a man lives right
It’s once in the morning
and twice in the night
From 30 to 40
If he’s still lives right
He misses the morning
and sometimes the night
From 40 to 50
It’s just now and then
From 50 to 60
it’s Heaven knows when
from 60 to 70
if he’s still declined
but don't let him kid you,
it’s still on his mind

I got the shock of my life when a seasoned poster informed me many were/are in their 50s/60s and beyond. It's has been a learning experience, that's for sure.

I'm always honest about my age - and every other thing as well..... why is this a matter of interest? Am I somehow less incisive and less learned in my comments by being part of some amorphous age group? Do I grow senile if I'm over 50 or become a sappy youth because I'm under 20? Or for that matter do I become different in my views because I'm a man or a woman or a whatever?

Why not value and judge my posts on their merit and not on some mythical age or other divide?

Politics of division has nearly destroyed this country... MY country that I own.... you want me to participate in the creation of artificial divides between people?

Oh.. the half-Maori lass loves me for myself....... and she knows better than you do....
