Where is the Muslim outrage about what's happening in Yemen?

Oh I know why, because it's not the Jooooz or the USA, it's the Muslims wahabists overlords

It is only the advent of modern commercial media that creates the illusion that any civilised person cares. And why should we? These people have been killing and torturing each other since God was a boy. They are ignorant, superstitious, and riven with revenge and tribal blood lust.

ABC news reporting on Yemen tonght that is an even more desperate war zone now than Syria.

A twitter feed I follow, a high profile muslim  (sunni) lawyer who posts constant updates of the horror inflicted by USA in Syria and Israel in Palatine....on Yemenis killed by Saudi's.....NOTHING

I don't post much about it here, but rest assured I am following the conflict, and yes I am outraged.

Gordy you seem to be unaware that there is a huge amount of resentment to the corrupt Saudi regime and its imperialistic aggression throughout the muslim world - both shiite and sunni. Don't forget that bin Laden's global terror campaign was originally a response to the Saudi's allowing US bases in their country.

You should know how tribal mentality works: the most hated amongst the tribe is not the enemy outgroup, its those amongst their group who are sellouts to the outgroup.

As for Yemen, there is little sympathy amongst the sunni world for the Saudis, however it is true that in a struggle involving the shiites (as Yemen is), many sunnis will see the Saudis as the lesser of two evils.
